So someone who looks odd to you is not more pressing? Prefer to keep talking about the guy with 10 votes on him?
You refuse to comment on Acrofales or mention anything substantial about him at all. That doesn't look like town marv who actually says what's scummy about the people he finds scummy.

It makes me really uncomfortable having to tell people to treat each other with respect. I'm not your mom. However, I've received 3+ pms this game over player conduct and if gets to the point where players aren't enjoying the game any longer, I'm going to have to start handing out modkills. This doesn't apply to any post in particular, but please play nice. Thanks!

You say x is scummy and I ask:
"But marv, I think x is scummy, too, what's so scummy about him, why did you call me bad things earlier when I posted stuff against x, why not comment on them?"
"Supersoft doesn't think x is scummy and there are more pressing matters at hand so I don't want to talk about someone I find scummy"
"But marv, which townie doesn't like to talk about the those he finds scummy?"
"errrr."

I don't find Acro scummy enough to feel the need to comment on him, Vivax. It's perfectly simple.

But you didn't ask him anything substantial if I recall correctly, how do you rule him out so easily when you found him odd earlier?

I've already mentioned - the scummiest thing that Acro did in my opinion is call Foolishness null for far too long. In addition, his early contributions were lacking, but that's partly at least because he was out of town at the weekend.
Currently Acrofales is attacking Corazon hard, and with good reasons - i fully agree that Corazon is mafia. Worrying about a player who is attacking one of my two strongest scumreads is not a priority in the slightest.

Well marv I know you won't be able to do much about it but if that's the case then I find it odd that you gave out two different reasons in a short timespan when the latter reason actually shows the intent to share information.

Well anyway I just wanted to point it out, thanks for answering once in a while.

In the interest of the thread, I won't call you names anymore, I super-homo pinky promise this. No calling me cancer either, though.
The two reasons are much the same; Acrofales simply is not a concern today. I admit I could have been more forthcoming in the first post.

By the way Vivax, you know I can be very single-minded in my pursuits.
I pursued Oats and prplhz like dogs Day 1 of LIX, and then I pursued only Oats day 2 until your check, and then Chez/BKE day 3. Only towards the end of the game did I start spreading my net because I wasn't quite sure who the last mafia was for a while.

Quote this post against me later. I plan to have all the mafia dead before LYLO. This is BS - you can make that argument for any vet. In fact, marv is a good enough scum player to know that him lasting till endgame is not necessary. Even if he gets lynched tomorrow after Foolishness flips town, he will have done his job, and 3KP goes through tonight. austin made the very specific point that I could be concentrating on Foolish to avoid a policy lynch later. That was me welcoming a policy lynch. And you're accusing me of twisting, slOosh? Ok. Let's not lynch Foolishness. If he is alive at LYLO we can lynch him. That's the logic in that statement which I called out BS.
You continue to point out and inflate minor points as an excuse to ignore the major pertinent ones. Marv, if I had a gun right now I would shoot you. Either:
1) you are playing as awful awful awful townie 2) my reads are woefully wrong (potential) 3) you are scum
Why does marv keep dodging? Why does he cherry pick at small things and inflate them? Why doesn't he address the main points and accusations?
Cuz he scum.

I addressed practically every point Foolish made that wasn't against me earlier. How is that dodging?
As promised earlier, I will answer the rest of it when I get off work.
What's the problem here, bish?

Well SlOosh I have given up on pushing him I think. I still think he scum but at this point he sadly has the thread in his hands and can do what he pleases. It will teach town a lesson at least if he really is scum.
Anyway, we'll see soon enough if Foolishness is lynchable, if he isn't he will have to get killed at night anyway (and is confirmed town cause being unlynchable is OP for scum), so we will force the medics to protect him and then fun begins cause marv and Dandel claimed medic and want to lynch him.
If he's lynchable then he lied and will be scum and I will have had a terrible read (I don't exclude it, but I'm 99% sure he town)

Okay, I've been reevaluating Foolishness and some of my assumptions were probably wrong. Austinmcc is making sense when he says that Foolishness is not playing as if he actually has the role he claimed (because of the weird incongruence between claiming unlynchable and being afraid of the lynch). So either Foolishness thinks his role PM is lying, which is a possibility, but why wouldn't he just say so? Or Foolishness is just lying about his role.
Secondly, the loooong case post. HiroPro showed that Foolishness does the same as scum, in Bureaucracy, and Marv picked apart the shoddy case on Yamato.
I am convinced that we should kill Foolishness. My stronger read is still Cora, but seeing as they are probably both scum, lets lynch Foolishness first. He is more dangerous.
Also, he posted that loooong post and then disappeared again: it is starting to feel more like a last-ditch effort (albeit a lot of effort) to appear townie than a sincere attempt to catch scum. Particularly as the two primary, of his three, targets are town reads of mine.
##unvote ##vote Foolishness

My thing is that if Marv and Foolish are both mafia, they have successfully made it nearly impossible to find their true scumbuddies today, and perhaps for a long while after this considering the state of the thread.
I don't want town just sheeping Marv. While I think he's right about all this, the way he's going about it is a little odd in my opinion. It could just be me, and I am known to be extremely paranoid, but something feels off about this lynch, even though I am fairly confident in Foolishness being mafia.

He wanted to use his vig shot to look townie. He wanted to use his nuke to look townie. He doesn't seem to realize that he could use his UNLYNCHABILITY to look townie.
He wanted to use his role/actions to look townie, but not the giant, neon sign, HEY LOOK GUYS I'M TOWN part of his role. To do that he has to waste a town lynch. Waste a town lynch. When the town lynch is the most reliable important tool for scumkilling. Looking townie is important if scum has been shoveling doubt on you all day, because even if you have all the right reads, it doesn't matter if people don't listen. I think there are good town motivations for his actions. Sorry, I'm not quite making the little bit that I'm getting at clear.
I don't want him to sit back and wait to be lynched, then be alive, then say, "See, I'm town."
But to the extent that he is trying to use his role to make himself look town - the vig shot, the nuke - he seems to forget that another part of his role will make him look town without even doing anything, the unlynchability. He references power A and B as being used to make him seem townier. He doesn't even mention that once power C is activated, he'll look super duper mega townie.
If I were REALLY on the chopping block, and I were REALLY concerned with using my role to look townie, I would have included that. He's actually on the chopping block. So the way he discussed what he's done to look townie, and more importantly what he leaves out of that discussion, leads me to believe he's not concerned with looking townie, or he's lying about his role.
I dunno if this makes any more sense, I feel like I can never actually spell out what I'm looking at here. Besides the fact that his role sounds fabricated, there's just a sense that he pulls in parts of the role to bolster his narrative, but leaves out other parts of the role that would also bolster the narrative. So I see a hole there in how he's creating his narrative/explaining his role and actions, and it reads to me as scummy.

I find this post rather off. You say you're confident but everything about this post says you're not.
Enough talking Foolishness anyway the bandwagon is rolling.
Yamato which townie would you shoot today if you had another shot? + Show Spoiler + Actually, tell me who you want to lynch after Foolishness assuming Foolishness didn't exist please.

I'll tell you how you find mafia in the mess - you look at people reluctant to take a stand, people who stay out of the limelight, people who won't discuss the main issue. People like Corazon. There will be others like him too.

If Foolishness is actually unlynchable then I am even more certain he is mafia.
It also makes Marv look 100000000000000000x worse.
