The TvT champions were consistently good for a very long period of time and the TvT champions almost always showed up in the top 8. This zerg meta game shit has a random zerg who didn't come top 8 the season before or ever make it to a finals and then another random zerg takes the next championship. We're tired of it, HOTS hopefully will change it or sc2 will become even more of a niche than it currently is.

Is this a joke?
If you have a replay or a vod for me to see where zerg spread creep this well against this good of an opponent I'd be happy to watch it.
Scarlett vs Ryung and getting it into his 3rd base (While Ryung was in the Ro4 of Code S at that same venue days later)
Come back later and try again.
Ive never seen creep spread quite as insane as Roro was on Daybreak and Cloud kingdom... but I havent seen those Scarlett' games.
This isn't the exact game but this is pretty precise on how the map looked.
I'd still like to see the vod/replay, this game was pretty tense, Taeja was trying to push back creep, also in the first game Roro had insane creep spread, but this time Taeja menaged to clean some of it up. In the game scarlett and ryung played, I can't know if Scarlett did a lot of damage early and forced Ryung to play passive and by that had free reign over the map.
I'm not trying to disrespect scarlett, but this is the GSL semifinal, and while Ryung is a great player, Scarlett has yet to translate her sick creepsread and success in general to a bigger stage. My original thought was that to me, RorO's play in general, and especially his creep spread were one of the best this expansion.
Go to 23:00
Or just look at the mini-map of the video preview, LOL.
Thank you for actually providing proof on the fucking internet, that's a first. Watching the game now, will get back to you.

The difference is the TvT champions were the same players game after game, season after season. MVP, MMA, Polt and MKP.
How many different Zergs have we seen dominating for the last period? Life, Leenock, Sniper, Hyun, Symbol, Roro... Etc. Etc.
Its just hard to take the players "serious" with the random results were every Code S-caliber Z is a candidate to win Code S.
In the days of TvT, you knew that some of the Terrans did not have the capacity to win. In GomZvZ ANY Z seems to be able to win Code S which makes the... How do I put this right in english. The.. They just dont earn the respect they are deserved for winning. If Life had won 3 times in a row it had been amazing. But throwing coins along the Z who wins just aint..

yes, Roro is a "random" zerg. specifically because you don't watch proleague. Symbol, who has been one of the top five zergs on the planet for nearly a full year is a "random" zerg. good to know.
and I didn't know it was required for a game to be dominated by the same people in order to be worth viewing. I guess I better stop watching the NFL, which is the most popular sporting league in America.

This makes me more excited for IEM though!
Yeah totally agreed. I won't be watching the GSL final. Can't wait for IEM though!
wiat, you won't be watching a ZvZ in the finals of the best league of the world, but you are looking forward to some random foreign tournament when like 93.67328% of the foreign proplayers play zerg?
only the group phases and maybe the first 2 rounds of the bracket... you know, until all the terrans are gone again ;D

The sad thing is, if DRG or Life had done this exact same thing, I bet you this thread would be full of "DRGs just on a different level from Taeja" or "Life is simply invincible right now." But because Roro's so unknown, it somehow has to be because zerg is an imbalanced race.
It sucks that there are no longer constructive criticism of the game these days, because there's only whinning for the sake of whining.
Yeah Roro is the better player but still Zergs are winning everything for the last 6 months. It cannot be only skill.
Because when we had Terran domination in GomTvT it wasn't shoved away as not skillful.
I'm not sure you remember correctly. Everyone bar terrans where whining about Balance back then :p

The irony is, of course, that people constantly complain about Protoss being OP.
But yeah, its frightening to think that if MC wasn't here Protoss would have precisely ONE GSL win. Perhaps not even that since the only other win was the result of a PvP. No guarantee there would have been a Protoss winner that season either.

Because going 4-2 against the most solid ZvZ in the GSL yesterday isn't great at all... Fuck Curious' 70% win rate in the GSL. That means nothing.
now go onto his TLPD and look where did he got his 70%. Leenock suffered a lot yes, but it's rather exception to the rule, i'm not very impressed by victories over likes of kdy, junwi or even yugioh.

it was essentially just 4 players (disregarding TOP). You can't compare that to the god knows how many 'breakthrough' zergs there have been
People as a rule don't want to watch ZvZ, but very high level TvT is truly amazing. You can just put it down to how the races are designed. PvP would also be more exciting if not for lame warp play and colossi.

wasn't this the first year that the AFC wasn't represented by the Patriots, Steelers, or Colts in the Super Bowl in like 10 years?

out of all the Zerg champions, the only one who wasn't strong for an extended periode of time is Sniper. He might pull a Jjakji. All the others have been quite dominant.

Yes, those players are all "random." If you want to stretch it, you can say Sniper and Hyun "came from nowhere," but that's it. And it is far too early to make a call on either of them.
I don't get the argument that TvT was somehow more valid because the top tier players were more consistently top tier. If anything, that's preference. If you watch baseball, do you think it is good that the Yankees are always good? Real Madrid in soccer? And even if you hate parity for some reason, check it out, GomTvT era consistently had over 15 Terrans in Code S. There have never been 15 Zergs in Code S. So your rule would only apply to the very very top of the pile.
There are maybe ten Zerg players on the planet capable of winning a GSL. Give them credit.

Also Fruity sadly :/
Was on top of the world for a few weeks then MKP ruined the party, and Nestea showed up to completely overshadow him.
