Allow me to kindly return your weak argument: I have seen 1-base Battlecruiser win in TvZ, is the build viable for all that?
I think the level of competition that polt goes up against and the fact that polt has made the build work multiple times in recent tournaments proves it is viable.
No. It proves he played Zergs who didn't try to scout and adapt or badly botched their defence. Nothing more. 2-bases timings are abysmal in TvZ because Zergs can easily defend them while retaining their third with a vastly superior game afterwards.

Is this a joke?
If you have a replay or a vod for me to see where zerg spread creep this well against this good of an opponent I'd be happy to watch it.
Scarlett vs Ryung and getting it into his 3rd base (While Ryung was in the Ro4 of Code S at that same venue days later)
Come back later and try again.
Ive never seen creep spread quite as insane as Roro was on Daybreak and Cloud kingdom... but I havent seen those Scarlett' games.
This isn't the exact game but this is pretty precise on how the map looked.
I'd still like to see the vod/replay, this game was pretty tense, Taeja was trying to push back creep, also in the first game Roro had insane creep spread, but this time Taeja menaged to clean some of it up. In the game scarlett and ryung played, I can't know if Scarlett did a lot of damage early and forced Ryung to play passive and by that had free reign over the map.
I'm not trying to disrespect scarlett, but this is the GSL semifinal, and while Ryung is a great player, Scarlett has yet to translate her sick creepsread and success in general to a bigger stage. My original thought was that to me, RorO's play in general, and especially his creep spread were one of the best this expansion.
Go to 23:00
Or just look at the mini-map of the video preview, LOL.
Thank you for actually providing proof on the fucking internet, that's a first. Watching the game now, will get back to you.

Why even bother? Youre shouting in a deaf persons ear.
Honestly with the last 2 WoL finals being ZvZ I wouldn't doubt that people will just look back and say "Ah right, ZvZ finals", and just dismiss these last 2 seasons entirely. Rough way to end WoL. >_<
And boy will the finals thread be fun, lots of esf vs. Kespa action, planning on avoiding that all together personally.

If Polt's build would be viable we would see a lot more of it. It was implemented during a phase where zergs were being blindly greedy and it was designed to punish that. Nowadays it just isn't possible if the zerg plays like a code S player should.
Interesting then that terrans still complain that zergs can be blindly greedy but can't be punsihed...because apparently we aren't being blindly greedy. So from all I have read, terran players want a build that allows them to be safe vs everything but can still punish a zerg who is playing safe....well that sounds like a fantastic approach to a balanced game.
I don't think it is worth discussing this any further when terran emotions are still so raw from how badly taeja got beat, by straight up solid play, who can they blame when there are no infestors or BL's
I have watched all the finals in GSL except for the last one and now also this one aswell.. Is quite disappointing how the last year or WoL was all about ZvZvZ.. Well, Hoping for HoTS to actualy regain my passion for the game.

This makes me more excited for IEM though!
Yeah totally agreed. I won't be watching the GSL final. Can't wait for IEM though!
if you dismiss these champions, then you have to dismiss the GomTvT champions. there is no way around that. give the players credit, it's not fair to dismiss them because your feelings are hurt.

That's excellent. Sad for Taeja, but there's so much value in having back to back zvz finals in GSL ^^ Such a fitting end :D

Terran's emotions are raw for the last year or so, they'd better start supplying free therapy hours at this rate.

It really is a different kettle of fish though...
you're right, it is: Terrans were FAR more dominant during that period than Zerg are now. my mistake.

wiat, you won't be watching a ZvZ in the finals of the best league of the world, but you are looking forward to some random foreign tournament when like 93.67328% of the foreign proplayers play zerg?
