Be patient. Say the right things. That's all I have. Sorry, not much to work with.

The only way to deal with things is - when you realise you like a girl, get asking her out over with. The more you get used to it, the easier it comes to just get to the point. Most of the time, you only need to see them a handful of times before you ask them. You get closure either way, and you save yourself from developing fantasies and feelings that will never be fulfilled. On February 14 2013 22:16 Scarecrow wrote: Yep, I'd say this one's done for now. Next girl just show her you like her, it's the same as writing. Confessing in general just isn't a good approach. She said it herself, when guys confess things get messy/awkward. Just acting more casual and not shooting for professions of like/love straight off the bat works wonders imo. I like the phrase 'I think we should go out'. Something about it appeals to me...you don't layer on any feelings, and you also don't throw an imperative at them. You also don't give them a question that they can say 'no' to. They will ask you why? And you can just go straight ahead and say whatever reason that you are attracted to them for. I feel ya man... but I gotta say the whole "where do we stand?" is just a bad idea. Just say it straight up, "I like you and I'd love to be your boyfriend" etc. I agree with scarecrow in that you have to be more aggressive if you've decided to pursue a person, but holding hands is also confusing and a kiss is going a bit far I think.

Saying 'I like you' is way too passive, invites rejection and expects them to escalate things. Just act as if she likes you and if she's not into it she'll tell you. Far better to make a more aggressive move, hold hands or go for a 'spontaneous' kiss. lol yeah trying a spontaneous kiss with some1 who's not into you isn't a bad move or awkward at all!

Been in both situations, confession and spontaneous kiss with rejection. I much prefer the spontaneous kiss. Way more fun, less awkward. Girls usually laugh or smile. Also HUGE upside =P. I've never found it awkward after a failed kiss. I usually smile and just keep talking. If you want you can keep the girl around, just don't get too attached or pine after her like a little dog. Meet new women and keep at it.

I'm sorry. I was rooting for you bro =( I literally facepalmed mentally when she said she wasn't into you. If she doesn't reply within the next few days, she's not going to talk to you again. Ever. It's this really sad game that girls play where if you get friendzoned and make one minor screw-up, they just ignore you forever. It took me two girls and at least a year of agony to realize this. Just move on and go get the next one =)

Started having way more success when i realised it`s not a big deal and it`ll either result in a funny story or a makeout session.
