Heh, I looked up my Monk's stats when I killed D in SC back in 1.02 and compared to my HC Monk in 1.06. Anyone had an issue with the "Exit Now" option on the menu when you leave a game? I just had a character die in pretty frustrating fashion, assuming that it was instantaneous? Was dodging a difficult mob or two, couldn't find a waypoint so just figured I'd jump out that way, on full health and everything but it just seemed simpler. Log back in and he's dead. Anyone else had issues? Might be worth noting so people don't make the same mistake. Level 59 too :sigh: | ||

If it was instant exit, it would be far too abuse able. Given that you say you used it because you were going to die, it kinda served it's purpose. | ||

Thats a bit of a leap to to conclusions - full health and all skills available, so I could have happily found a dungeon entrance had I known it was the only option | ||

There is no way to leave the game "instantly". Even if you pull the plug on your computer or something, your character will sit in-game for 10 secs and have risk of dying. | ||

Wouldn't have helped anyway as the walls trapped me in completely into a triangle space, while 4 arcane sentries spawned. I knew it was GG several seconds before it happened, but I did not fail to execute epic button mashing anyway xD Only time was lost on the toon, around 2-3m of gear was equipped. I was saving up gold for items that are actually good and in the process of selling a very nice witching hour for ~100m neighborhood. Not sure yet if I'll come back to HC, or just cash out my HC stash. Edit: Added the death pic. Thanks for making me relive that inglorious moment lol. Looking back I might have lived if I had leap instead of sprint (gangplank). | ||
