Your players should play the most possible games, so no 1-2 credit guys, but you also want some aces. I absolutely wanted to have Bogus (ace player for 6 credits) and Soulkey for their price, so I couldnt fit Flash in. Rain had a very good showing in the proleague format and I still think he is the best KeSPA player. Only downside to Flash is he might share the ace role. soO lost his last 3 matches in proleague but he showed good games at various MLG tournaments, so I still trust him. JYP and hon_sin have good records and should be expected to be in (almost) every lineup. Especially soO, hon_sin and Bogus have very good opponents for the first week. No player plays in the 6th slot and only JYP in the 5th, so they should all get to play their match. (with these players I also have 2 from each race to have trading flexibility) SKT1 is still a top team, nice price, I need the credits for the players.
Anti: Stork is overvalued, he just got so many appearances in Round 2. His record was "only" 5-6. Last doesnt play the first week. And Ryul2 didnt have impressive wins and he won't beat Zero.

This round I'm trying to get a more rounded roster, and I made quite a lot of steals today. Stats, Soulkey, herO, and Revival all came in at 5 points a piece, which I thought was insane. s2 valued at 3 was a nice deal to, and my highest cost player was Cure at 6. Hopefully they can all pull off some wins for me this round =D

Stats/Wooki/Dear/herO which one should I get
How does KT rank Stats and Wooki anyways?

I feel like a lot of these teams will end up being quite similar due to the overall downsizing of players' and teams' point values, which makes it easier to pick several good players and less necessary to gamble with 1- or 2-pointers. I've already seen several teams that are close to mine and I've barely looked at them considering there's 13 pages to go through.
Chicken Sandwiches
Main Team 5 Action 2 Classic 10 Flash (captain) 3 JYP 4 Light 5 P7GAB(Wooki) 1 SK Telecom T1
Anti Team 3 Last 5 Soulkey 5 TY(Baby)
I picked this team rather differently from the first two rounds, making sure to look at the starters for this week and take them seriously. This round, I will not trade based on "well this guy hasn't been doing as well as I'd hoped so I'll trade him away", but instead I'll be thinking about "this guy plays this week and that guy doesn't", or "this guy is more likely to win his match than that guy". Hopefully this pays off.
Another note is that for once I am betraying the Terran race and allowing an extra Protoss on board. What can ya do.
Flash: My number 1 and always captain. Because he costs ten points, I've pretty much dismissed getting anyone else who's 6+. Opponent is s2, which Flash can surely handle. Action: A 5-pointer and, in my opinion, well worth it. You don't get called the Mafia Zerg if you lose all the time. He did worse in R2 than in R1, but I think it's okay. Opponent is sacsri, who hasn't made a big impression yet. Classic: Perhaps my weakest player, the one who lost to Thorzain. However, his next opponent is Puma, so I think he has the best chance to win out of the 2-pointers. JYP: Probably stronger than he's given credit for. I mainly picked him because his opponent is hyvaa. Light: I'm surprised he got bumped up to 4 points considering he didn't perform as unreasonably well as I expected him to last round, but I'm still rooting for him. Opponent is True, who so far isn't too intimidating. Wooki: No surprises here, and the fact that he's only 5 points this round is like greatness in a box. He maintained a >50% win rate in both rounds, going 8-4 overall. The biggest reason I picked him over Stats is because his opponent BeSt is much less formidable than Rain. SKTelecom T1: Finally SKT has something to do with my FPL, previously there was no trace of it to be seen anywhere on main or anti. SKT will perform much better than its cost of 1 point.
Last: Picked him after Soulkey and BaBy, which meant a 3-pointer. He's the only 3-pointer who isn't playing this week. Too bad he looks a lot like one of my friends, but obviously, FPL>friends. Soulkey: Hasn't performed too overly well in SPL this season, so I'm hoping to count on that to go through. As with JYP, I mainly picked him because of his opponent, Cure (what more needs to be said about Cure?). TY: Like Soulkey, BaBy has been relatively underperforming this season. Soulkey and BaBy are both great players, though, so there are doubts in my mind about this antiteam. To my best judgment though, this is what I got. TY's opponent is sOs, a great player himself. I think sOs can do it, but mostly I'll just have to hope on this one.
One big disadvantage with my new method of taking things week by week is that you can't trade 8 players per round, and even if you could you'd end up down the drain in points, so it's still necessary to have a group of players who at their core are solid. I will probably end up trading much more this round than in previous ones; whether it'll help me or hurt me will soon be seen.
Good luck all!

I think Stats and Wooki are ranked equally, both should always play, but Flash is still the definite ace. I wouldn't get Stats, because he plays Rain the first week. (maybe trade for him after)
I think Dear is the overall best player out of them, but he doesn't have an easy opponent with Jaedong either. For the first week I would go with Wooki (who should be heavily favored against Best) and eventually trade depending on the next lineups.

Feeling pretty good about my team this round, although my anti team scares me a little bit.

Main Team 6 Cure(Speed) 6 Innovation(Bogus) 3 JYP (captain) 4 Light 5 P7GAB(Wooki) 4 soO 2 EG.TL
Anti Team 3 Last 5 Soulkey 5 TY(Baby)
For my main team I went with all mid-range players with my highest point players being Cure and Innovation at 6, and my lowest being JYP at 3. I did this because it seems to me that the 7 point players this round are a little bit risky, except for HerO who has looked pretty solid. Stork and free have had moments of awesomeness but I don't feel like they are 100% reliable. EffOrt has been pretty good but with the surge Hydra had in the last round I expect that EffOrt may miss out on some ace match opportunities, which is what you want from your high point players. That is why I chose Innovation and Cure. Innovation pretty much has the ace position locked down because other than possibly Dear, STX really doesn't have anyone else to send out. Cure will likely split ace match duties with Jaehoon, one being picked over the other based on the circumstances of each particular match.
After those two I chose Wooki at 5 points because he has shown that he has tremendous potential, and KT as a whole seemed to thrive in this round's format, as we saw in round 1. For my 3 lower point players I chose soO, Light, and JYP all because they are pretty consistent and are very likely to appear in just about every match. Light is the go to Terran for WJS, and soO is SKT's top zerg player, and they both seem to be pretty consistent. JYP may not be the top player on EGTL but they have showed confidence in him by playing him just about every round and even sending him out for the occasional ace match. He's consistently won about half of his matches so I expect him to continue that trend.
I also picked my team largely based on the lineups for week 1. Each and every player on my team is playing this week in match ups that I believe to be favorable to them. The only exception is Cure(Speed) vs Soulkey, that one could go either way.
Other than that, there's:
Motive < Neo Bifrost > soO Wooki < Entombed Valley > BeSt Innovation < Neo Arkanoid > Zenio hyvaa < Entombed Valley > JYP True < Neo Arkanoid > Light
For my anti-team, this guy pretty much already explained my thoughts perfectly. Thanks slowbacontron!

Anti Team 4 Light 4 Terminator(Sang) 5 TY(Baby)
I think that the all-kill round was kind of crazy with a lot of players doing well that wouldn't usually and a lot of guys falling off a little bit. Most of the players I would have picked anyway are now lower in value so that allowed me to pick up somebody like Jaehoon at an 8 that I otherwise wouldn't have budgeted for to be honest.

Yes, good detective work. the bottom 3 matches are completely one sided and easy wins. JYP/Light are snipers and going to be situationally used. Innovation is a fine ace. Motive/SoO...Motive is not really that bad of a player and BeSt isnt that bad either although his performance in r2 was horrendous.
I feel youre throwing a wild curve ball with EG.TL but that's just me. I still feel Ty is T8's ace. even with Speed's better record in the past two rounds. Look at babys opponents. They have been tough. He's a good player overall, the mechanically most gifted player on the team.

Bisu because I honestly think he will start to shine this round. He's been really quiet and it doesn't make sense to me. He has the people to look to, Rain/Parting and has the mechanics to back up the strategies.
HerO because he's HerO and he's awesome. He streamed for 35 hours the other day so I don't think he's fucking around anymore.
JangBi because it really seems like he's practicing hard as possible. His skills improved so rapidly so that was the only possible solution. Him being JangBi, I don't think he's at his cap yet.
Major because I know he practices a lot. Also, Major's wanted this for a long time so he should be trying his absolute hardest.
Revival because he's a solid player. Worst case scenario he will net me a few points.
SoO is a solid ass player. He gets sent out a lot so it's obvious that his team trusts him.

If he was Toss; he'd have a better chance but T8's two best players just happen to be terran unfortunately. Bisu... SKT T1 Toss: Rain, Best Paralyze, Bisu. Right now. Bisu's performance is dead last of that group. when parting comes, he's going to be pushed back even further. Bisu has a long way to go. If you want to go old school; Leta is the better choice. Why? Because CJ only has one capable toss in herO.

Flying Pink Unicorns
Main Team 6 Cure(Speed) 5 Dear 1 Mekia(fOKINS) 5 P7GAB(Wooki) 8 sOs(Shy) (captain) 4 Terminator(Sang) 1 SK Telecom T1
Anti Team 6 Jaedong 4 Light 3 s2
Main Team
Cure(Speed) - I needed a Terran and I originally was going to use Baby but he is matched up against sOs which I don't think he will come out victorious. Having said that, I had to modify my original roster and replay Baby with Cure. Cure is a very consistent Terran and hopefully he prevails for me against Soulkey. Soulkey likes to go Mutas and the map isn't good for that style. Plus Cure is 6-2 against Zerg so I like my chances.
Dear - He has been tearing it up lately and faces Jaedong this week. Jaedong loves to go Muta and I don't particularly think this map is good for Mutas. At the same time, I remember 10p being very strong on this map (not sure if this is still true) so I'm a bit worried. Nevertheless, if Dear can push this to late game, I feel like his control is better than Jaedong's in the late game.
Mekia(fOKINS) - I needed a Zerg and it had to be a 1 point player. I originally had Paralyze (2 points) but since I added Cure to the team, I needed to deduct a point from one of my players. I decided why not the one I don't really care. I chose this Zerg as well because he's on WJS which I think will do very well this round.
P7GAB(Wooki) - A very potent Protoss player from KT Rolster. I was deciding between him and Stats and herO to be on my team. Stats faces Rain in a PvP matchup and I just don't know what's going to happen especially when Rain has the likes of PartinG to practice with. herO is such a steal at just 5 points in my opinion but his first opponent is JangBi who is doing quite well recently so I was a bit worried about that. "Covered in Blood" has to face BeSt who hasn't really been doing good so I like my chances.
sOs(Shy) - sOs is very consistent and is on one of the best KeSPA teams right now. His opponent is TY who performed weak in Round 2. I'm hoping sOs can pull through for me on this but Akilon Flats is a bit weird for me. I'm not too sure which race has the advantage on this map.
Terminator(Sang) - Entombed Valley is a Protoss favored map in the Proleague at the moment with a record of 20-10 I believe in favor of Protoss in the PvT matchup. Hopefully that luck translate to a victory for Terminator. If not, it's okay as I still believe in him as he has shown me decent results in the past.
SK Telecom T1 - Only at 1 point is a travesty. Though the team hasn't been performing well, the talent in that team is unquestionable up there with the top teams. Hopefully this team can pull together and win some games this round.
Anti-Team
Jaedong - He faces Dear who is on my team. I'm not too confident on how Jaedong will perform in this matchup. I wanted to have one steep player so I can grab a cheap player as well in my anti-team.
Light - He faces Terminator on the map Entombed Valley. This isn't a good sign for him and he hasn't really impressed me in round 2.
s2 - He faces Flash this week. He's my cheap player. The only downside is he is on SKTT1 though so we'll see how this panes out.
