My heart goes out to you!
Today I submitted my first ever own Liquipedia Article, and man... To be honest, it was pretty tough but I am so damn proud! I honestly spent a few good hours on it, first working out how everything should be organized and what the most optimal format would be, and then actually writing all the things. Linking all of those players and tournaments to their respective pages, finding that gosh darn flag (I swear to god, finding the flag for Peru at first was hard HAHA) or whether it is getting that perfect template for whatever table I wanna use! But whilst it may be tough, it, for me personally is definitely very rewarding as the satisfaction of the hard work being published online for others to read kind of gives me a kick. ^^ Prior to this all I did was lurk on liquipedia, and trust me! There is absolutely nothing wrong with just doing that.
But now when I see the effort that goes into each and every article, I really become thankful for all you who do contribute and put the effort and time into each article!
My first official article dealt with the Swedish SC2 Scene and how it has developed over time, some notable tournaments and some notable players and what not! Everything good-to-know about the SC2 scene in Sweden. Now reading it again, I even see many things I can add. I am Swedish, but I live in China so I have the advantage of not only following the Swedish pro-scene closely, but also the Chinese one too! So my next goal is to expand the Chinese SC2 Scene a bit more, so that it can reach an acceptable standard with lots of detail for those who want to know more, one of the goals of a wiki!
I have set many goals for me in the future of how I can help out and contribute and so I will definitely continue writing, whether it be updating articles to the most recent information or if it's creating entirely new articles! Personally I noticed that a lot of these "scene" pages were a bit outdated and some needed expanding! So all of those will be fun to do. It's actually kind of addicting... :D

You will absolutely see more of me in the future, I promise you that TeamLiquid!

Great effort! There are still some grammatical and formatting issues to work out (ex: I think the Beta section has some leftover notes or unformed thoughts at the start of the paragraph), but this is quite a formidable tome of information! I'm sure the rest of the issues will just work themselves out as people contribute to your work. Thanks for helping to make Liquipedia and even better place! What's your next article?

Yay! Congrats on contributing, it can be tough at times to get stuff exactly right but it's awesome when we get to see articles like this <3 Don't stop contributing and make sure to go to #liquipedia on QuakeNet IRC if you ever need help!
Edit:
HOLY CRAP I LOVE YOU! I always guess the flag codes and i was wrong 50% of the time, never thought to look for a template page ~_~

The country-specific articles (Category:Country-specific articles) are a part of Liquipedia that I think has a lot of potential, but they also need a huge amount of knowledge to write. I hoped to see lots of great country-specific articles, but either people haven't discovered them, they are not interested or it's just too much work. That's why I was so glad to see a new one pop up, and especially since it was that thorough!
Also, if you take a look at its history, you'll see that already, more people have added to it, which is one of the things I really love about LP. You get the ball moving and before you know it, people have joined in and made it something more than you did on your own. But the ball never could have got moving if you haven't given it that initial push.
So congratulations on your first article, Trasko! I'll certainly be looking forward to seeing more of you in the future!

@ Takkara. Yeah Grammar is honestly not my best area of expertise... But the great thing about writing is that you can only improve, right? So by doing more articles I WILL IMPROVE! I think my next goal is to write an extended version of the China SC2 Scene page. The one right now is decent, but I wanna expand it a bit more. I mean if you look at the Russian SC2 Scene page.. Man, that one is awesome (I kind of went with that type of style when I wrote the Swedish one).
@ astroorion. I did go there for one or two things and everyone was so nice and responded quickly ^^. Truly love the community here
@ PolskaGora. AHHH. Now I should've used that... HAHA. Will do so in the future! Thank you!
@iMAniaC. Yeah man! They truly are a lot of work! Not only did I have dig up all the knowledge I had about the Swedish SC2 scene, but I also had to go back through all old tournaments and see how the players placed and what not^^ What was great about it though was that I got myself a nice nostalgia kick! And yes! I see it now and compare it to my original post. It's fantastic how improved it is already. I lav it! Thank you sir! And yeah. The country specific articles are underrated and they're not frequently visited (thus them not being that up to date). Hopefully by me (and all others who do!) updating them, they might gain some more publicity!
