With the way GSL points work, it is pretty much the 4 champs + a runner up. There are situations where you have 3 champs and 2 players with 2 runners up. Or someone with 2 Ro4s instead of runner ups but those cases are rare.

Completely missed Stephano near all-kill (was like way too late to watch).... And what happened exactly to Naniwa ? I heard he had his gear stolen or something... ? Who would do that.... ? Btw, looked way closer than I thought it'd be. Highlight of this : Scarlett bringing the manner hatches after Seed's manner nexuses. SHOW'EM !

I wonder why he decided to go that route, I'm thinking it's partly due to his success at using hydra's in ZvT somewhat recently. Relatively passive games that allow you to creep spread half the map plus allows your hydras to retreat, but he didn't spread creep to his fourth so he was stuck taking a hidden expansion. If he sent his hydras there then they would have been too far away from his main/natural to defend if squirtle attacked. Yet if he went infestors I think he would have won. Been able to take a a defensible fourth and they wouldn't have insta died to the colossi. Just sad how Hydra's are so bad.

I think for Stephano's sake, he should keep doing what he's doing and win foreign tournaments than dedicated months on 1 GSL. He's after $$$ only after all, which is fair.

If you really think the Koreans played to their full potential/effort they would be more devastated or have a serious manner when they lose. Not downplaying anyone here, but 1 small tournament doesnt mean anything. I think for Stephano's sake, he should keep doing what he's doing and win foreign tournaments than dedicated months on 1 GSL. While Stephano's run did kind of save the day, I can't help but feel it would have been more interesting overall if there was some back and forth that could have been generated in the other matchups. Nerchio and perhaps Scarlett could have certainly had interesting games against any of team Korea's Ps, rather than playing a bunch of bo1 ZvZs. Also, Life did a pretty troll build against Stephano, but at least that helped it not being an all-kill (not saying Stephano couldn't have won anyway, just that it was a lot easier than it could have been). Uhm, with "Troll Build" you mean the strategy that worked in Code S?
