Wrong. In one of the Code S casts this season. Tastosis joked about who each GSL player would be as a Street Fighter character. Both Artosis and Tasteless came to the conclusion that MC was definitely Zangief.
It's a shame they just gave Naniwa a spot, when it could have gone to a more deserving, better performing (at the moment) European or NA player through qualifiers.

That is an incredibly absurd statement.
Is it? He could have taken a 4th, but he attacked into a spine wall hoping he could just roll though. Unlike players like Squirtle, Creator, and Hero, who are trying to figure out the late game for PvZ, Naniwa mails it in with the typical 3base pre-hive all in. Herp.
He made a questionable decision. That doesn't mean that he's lazy and just went for what was easiest to try. That's like saying "Oh, Life's just making roaches, infestors and spines? What a lazy player."

It would've been 3 base versus 3 base, which is protoss favored. Naniwa waited far to long before he pulled back after his attack though, and lost way to much.
Exactly, Naniwa was ahead because he had huge pre-brood lord timing window. He could and should attack few minutes earlier.
