And the fact that other similar situations did not happen is just one large coincidence? You make a good point. Anyway the whining is stupid. Stephano was the pre-tournament favourite, him beating Bomber in a tournament again is hardly a surprise. And the series was very close at 4-4, so hardly suggestive of imbalance. Bomber raised his game and made the Finals very tight. Stephano lost to a Terran, Lucifron in the Final of the Stim to the Win tournament on Friday. So win some, lose some.

LR is alright, you just have to bail out in the right time. Here we have 500+ pages of fun (excluding the manner/bm moves discussion and timezones) and then the zerg won aftermath. That's not bad. Went to bed trying to sleep to the sound of the monday morning work traffic. Sick life.

Even more so considering the other three, MC, Nestea and MVP have been SC2 pro-gamers for a year longer. Interesting to note that Stephano has won ~ $41,000 since joining EG 2 and a half months ago! So much for a curse. Factor in that Stephano was unable to attend DH Bucharest or GD Studio Invitational last month due to his ban and his prize money accrual is impressively relentless. To put some context, Idra has won ~ $53,000 since joining EG more than 2 years ago.

How retarded is that. wtf are you saying? the player from the winner bracket never lost and the one from the loser bracket lost once and had a second chance so it just makes sense.

Love that it goes the big three and then Stephano. He's in range to take down Nestea if he does very well at WCS Finals too... Exciting stuff.

You realise when the bracket gets reset that's the guy from the winner bracket getting the same second chance the guy from the loser's bracket got right? I'm genuinely not sure if you're disagreeing with him or agreeing with him for realsies.

In fact, I believe Infestors are easier to use. But the entire thread was basically "OMG INFESTOR NO SKILL QQ". Attacking marine-tank with infestor-ling in SC2 is basically the same concept as lurker-ling in BW. You have to time your infestor movement just right; too early and the tanks will focus you, too late and the marines will have already kited your lings to death while avoiding the fungals. Yes, it's a step down from BW, but not the night-and-day difference that TLers are whining about. Does fungal do 300 damage? No? STFU. Lockdown not viable? Go watch some of Boxer's lockdown vs Carriers. STFU. You're an idiot. Please delete your account. User was temp banned for this post. 1. No, it's not the same concept whatsoever as lurkerling in BW. There is really no "just right" timing whatsoever. It's not even remotely comparable. Did you even play BW? 2. Doesn't matter if it did 300 damage over time. Most units it affected didn't even have 300 life so it wasn't even relevant. To add on, I forgot to mention the fact it didn't even affect shields, so if you used it on something like an Archon I believe it did 7 damage total. Units could actually retreat after being plagued (for example, Science Vessels), and repaired or simply continually used. Plague was strong, no where near fungal. 3. Boxer lost the majority of games he attempted to use lockdown vs Carriers. You see all those "pimpest play" moments where he utilizes lockdown? Yeah, they were badass. He still lost those games. You have zero valid points, hopefully you will read over this even though you're banned.

Just seems wrong to have him above MVP!

Actually Stephano has been playing sc2 professionally since its very begining, he was just not doing very well I've watched him play tourneys in France like 6 month after the release.

He wasn't full time until September 2011. He was in High School up to then. There is a thread on TL about it. Remember the Complexity contract issue? He signed an employment contract with Mill in late Sept 2011. MC, Nestea and MVP were playing in the GSL in Sept 2010 - a full year earlier. Stephano won about $5000 before going full-time.
