You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

all three points pretty conclusive, for a second i thought there was a chance he saw the observer shimmer before he popped his guardian shield, but nope, it's before the observer enters his vision. this guy is a hacker, no doubt about it in my mind.

MyTh NA mid-masters http://drop.sc/270084 Blindly reacts to my CC first by going 3 hatch before spawning pool, pre-emptive spines to defend against 4 rax marine timing, responds to things on the map that he clearly has no vision of etc. Also whenever he bms me after crushing an army closer to the end of the game he pauses-unpauses so I mean the proof is in the pudding so to speak. Pardon my BM as i cannot stand hackers. Luckily I win the game and he rage quits

Hello, my name is Heisenberg on ladder. And I am not a maphacker. .. But there is another guy named Heisenberg, also playing T, using same portrait as me Oo, who is. http://eu.battle.net/sc2/de/profile/244089/1/Heisenberg/ This is my profile. Can the OP guy from this thread please add something underneath that Heisenberg that tells people that I am not a maphacker, I have been flamed pretty often today, I almost would describe it as harassment.

Hacker Nerffy, Top Masters NA. I sent a 9 scv proxy and he straight out says hax bro and proceeds to kill it.
Post of someone else encountering him: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/6933835661
2 and a half minute game of me encountering him: http://drop.sc/271252
Like I said in the Blizzard post, before anyone goes LOL YOU'RE DUMB EVERYBODY KNOWS PPL PROXY THERE LOL LOL without either using their head or watching a less than 3 minute replay from HIS PERSPECTIVE, when he sends an scv to kill my scv, he does not have full vision of it on the replay but only sees the "edge of the fog of war". Just like with the Spades cheats, whenever someone is looking into the fog of war through cheats it only ever shows the edge of the fog in the action, just like it does here when he goes to kill it.
I've noticed this Nerffy person has been called out before on this thread.

You guys do realise that this thread is not updated any-more?
Report hackers to blizzard if you dont find a better method to waste your time. I think in sc2 the cheaters won the fight...

i think it's ok to keep posting in thread, gather replays etc. i'll still be subscribing and analyzing replays whenever i have the time.

i think that would be hubris on my part. there are stronger contributors than me that probably still frequent this thread. no need for me to make hasty decisions and take on responsibilities i might not be up for, and besides zwei didn't update the op all that often leading up to his announcement either. lets just keep this thread as it is for a few weeks, keep adding data and analyzing.
whenever we have 5 more conclusive reports we can decide who wants to update the OP.

I understand that. The main problem with this method is in my opinion:
Analyse single games that tl user submit and find 1 or 2 cheater does not help a lot. Dont get me wrong, its better than nothing. But with so many cheaters in all leagues out there its like fighting windmills. We saw in the past, if you are not stupid you can hide the cheat good enough so that no one can tell for sure. Blizzard was allays bad in cheatcontroll but their attempts in sc2-anit-cheat are laughable.
Someone have to find a way to automatic find maphacks in replays or sc2 is a full cheat game. All the cheater you find in this threat are the few who are to stupid to hide it.
This thread has a little taste of ; "lets act we can do something because there is nothing we can do about it"

Yes, this is not updated anymore. The hackers have won. Just played against 3 different bar codes. All them saying "make a vid of me next please!" It's got out of control.

analyzing single games that tl users submit and finding 1 or 2 cheaters is what this thread is, especially if you add 'at a time' behind '1 or 2 cheaters'. if you want to talk about the need for an automatic maphack detection i appreciate the initiative but i think we'd be better off if you wrote a blog about it.
belittling the efforts made in this thread however pisses me right off. so would you kindly fuck off with the defeatist attitude, this thread is the opposite of the one you should be posting in. same goes for the poster below you.
for the off-topic record i would also like to add that you are using the idiom about fighting windmills wrong.

Guys I am a hacker named on this post numerous times. I obviously wont say who.. But I want to tell you all to give it up. Blizzard doesn't care. I've been reported on here and in game many many many times and I still continue to do it. It's really fun and I don't care what people think. All the bitching etc wont help or stop any hackers. It may be pathetic that I hack but its a great rush! Plus there are so many hackers on the ladder now that in order to stay competitive you need to hack. Just FYI for all because every time I read this post I chuckle at everyone's attempt to get users banned. Everyone its a GAME relax if someone cheats it's not the end of the world

You obviously just fail at life. You're actually trying to justify your cheating with saying 'Someone else does it aswell'. How old are you 6? It's childish and lame and you ruin the fun for everyone you're encountering, since people like to play with strategy's in a strategy game. I know you don't care about this post and will probably 'chuckle' but you're scum and are probably an moron in life aswell while you might not even know it. Disgusting. BAH

I talk about this thread in this thread. If you dont share my opinion thats fine and there are other ways to say that.
Offtopic: + Show Spoiler +That you blame me and suggest me to leave this thread, shows that you would like to be in an environment where you are not confronted with different opinions. Also you react with aggression. That is a sign of insecure and close mindset. In the case you are 14 years old or younger this is a part of growing up. That does not mean its a good behaviour. You should try to let it behind you.
In the case you are older: Im very sure this is not the first time you hear this. You should rethink this attitude because it will be hard for you to normal interact with other persons at all. Not only but also on any internet forum. You should try to confront diffrent opinions with arguments or ignore them if you are not willing to do so at the moment. As long as you dont ignore them all. However aggression will not help you to overcome your insecurity. Rethinking and Defending your position against the one you dont share, will.
Ontopic: I did not ask to give up. I did not say close it. I asked if it would not be better to search for an different approach. Instead of analysing cheater for cheater, you should look for pattern in the cheat program to automatic detect it in future.
@wonnaplay dont feed the trolls

yah i agree just close the thread. its a joke and contributes to the hackers moral by winning
