first: OH MY GOD THIS MOD IS FRICKING AWESOME. second: however, there are issues that i wish you would please fix. 1: All these maps that i hear you have (like heartbreak ridge) cannot be found anywhere, including create custom game 2: Some units are a bright pink in color with no texture. it appears that as long as that unit is cloaked (like by an arbiter) they become the proper color and texture. however they return to bright pink and no texture as soon as the cloaking wears off. 3: Gateways and Stargates (and maybe some other things that i don't know of) are 3x4 instead of 2x3. this is screwing with my building placement. I play zerg, but i have friends that play protoss that can't play with buildings that are too big. 4: Units with splash appear to be doing their normal damage + their splash damage to main target (and maybe more... can't be sure right now). This results in things like Seige Tanks and Spider Mines doing WAY to much damage to targets like Dragoons. (I found this out quite a long time ago, and I haven't double checked recently, might actually have been fixed since then) 5: Not sure on this one, but shouldn't Arbiter Tribunals have a crystal thing in the middle? It's not there. 6: extractors are free... 7: AI doesn't do anything.
I can't find your maps in arcade, which makes it very hard to play with other people. I understand that you are "Done trying to work through Blizz's systems" but i really think you should. And if it means trying to find the source of the broken game modes, i really think it would be worth it. (just wondering... what was broken about them?)
My REAL brood war won't connect to b-net (like i need a new CD-key kind of can't connect) and i would really like to play with SC2 pathing/selection AIs anyways. please fix these issues as soon as possible, i'd REALLY like to play BW with my friends and this mod is the best i can find so far. all it needs is these few issues to be fixed. Just trying to be constructive, I honestly hope I don't come across as rude.

hey, thanks for your feedback. only 3 maps are up on NA and they are under starcraft > custom games not arcade. gateways and stargates are 4x3 in BW. i've confirmed spider mines were broken in terms of damage. fixed that. extractor cost fixed
this update will probably come tomorrow. should include devourer model.

Marveck, pls, you should: -remove the rally point from eggs, mutation units zerg and fusion templars; -remove the possibility of building, by multiple selection Harvests;

i understand that only 3 maps are up and not in arcade, but i think it would be worthwhile to put them in the arcade and to put in all of them, or at the very least put all of them into custom games. also, what are you doing about the no texture/pink units? could use a fix on that. also i've been doing alot of BW campaign this week, double checked gateways and stargates and they're 2x3 unless my vision is completely screwed, i'll look at it again but i'm quite sure about this. Thanks for fixing spider mines and extractors, but please look at everything else with splash and make sure the damage there is checked and addressed. What's the new devourer model?

stargates/gateways being 2x3 would make them the same size as a forge and they are definitely bigger. i opened brood war and it all looks right to me. most of the walling tests i've done where i've replicated traditional protoss wall ins to make sure fighting spirit natural choke was the correct width have all been accurate so im 100% sure they are the right size.

made by GhostNova91 @ SC2Mapster. i wasn't going to use this model originally. it uses Mutalisk animations (the wing flapping looks really bad). it also has issues with model clipping and breaking (large gaps in the mesh at certain angles and at certain frames of it's animations). and the color difference with the end of it's tail/weapon. buuuuuuuuut it still looks pretty nice and you can only see those problems if you are looking for them.
*EDIT* btw which units aren't showing textures for you?

updated NA, theres a side effect of the devourer in that the guardian textures get screwed up, i'll fix it soon, i still dont really like the model for it anyway.
gonna upload all of it tonight for EU, feels pretty close to stable. link wont be up until i wake up however, sorry it takes so long, living in Australia blesses me with exceptionally slow upload speeds.

ummmmm, the texture issues are on: queen hydra shuttle and maybe some more...? haven't checked for terran yet and haven't looked at everything toss, so. but they're turning pink too, it's more than no texture.
if gates and stargates are 3x4, shouldn't robo facilities be too? not sure i guess, but it feels right... and maybe you could mess with the model abit so they don't look so fat and clunky XD
are you gonna try and get more maps on the arcade? that would be awesome man if you could do it :D
*EDIT* check this out http://www.creepcolony.com/pstats.shtml seems you are right on building size, but it definitely appears clunky, although that's a model thing i guess. can't remember which spell, but instead of a description it says: display:tooltip/tooltip.something or other that i can't remember right now, (i know, that was like no help whatsoever) just alerting you to the existence of that issue.
This isn't your issue, but i think it's funny that gates and stargates were the same size as nexii XD
and then this one IS something with yours: the shield battery can only be clicked on when the mouse point is directly touching a part of the battery, and most of it is really small spindly arms, so it's difficult to select to quickly replenish, say, an archon. maybe you could make it so that selecting anywhere inside the size circle selects it?

there is alot of models for toss/zerg/terran that i don't think you're using at the link bgx quoted. the defiler mound and some of the portraits there look really good. (but do whatever you want, it would be cool to see a model YOU made [if there are any, what are they?])

@MavercK I may be late on this but the firebat models are very small haha. They look like midgets. Anyways, great mod! Hopefully we see some new features, added by blizzard, that will benefit this mod when HoTS comes out.

Thank soo much for all you work you have done. is there a chat channel for games? I have to play with people who know the game abit better. So far I have only found people who use to play customs back in the day. The people I have to play with are kinda clueless. I had to teach one guy 3 hatch spier 5 hatch hydra over skype. Most Terrans don't even get mines! Some poor though 9 pool 12 hatch was cheese. I really cant take it, we need to get blizz to make a ladder for BW on HOTS.
