3 against 5 incoming, I don't like that D:
Edit : and also why is ViBE so damn low ? Isn't he supposed to be, like, the WCS runner up for NA ? No it wouldn't. Scarlett, Major, Illusion, and other NA players are just as strong as the European representatives. If it was all Europeans it wouldn't be GSL vs the world it would be GSL vs Europe. No, Scarlett, Major, Illusion are far below people like Nerchio, Lucifron, Vortix, Grubby SortOf, Slivko, Kas, Mana and few others. Typical European elitist response. There's little to no difference between them. I'd pick major and Scarlett to beat all except the first three on your list, and even then it would be close. Goody beat MMA not a long ago, Demuslim beat Nestea...foreigners can beat koreans(especially with latency) on a few occasions... Scarlett hasn't done anything to suggest that she's uo there, especially since she seems to be avoiding all major events...she's probably all satisfied with the huge undeserved hype she's getting from guys like you smh. You don't follow the scene much then. You could just watch her WCS NA run and see how far ahead of the scene she is. She can do big mistakes and still crush people, and if you do a mistake you're just dead. She's a very talented player in terms of mechanics and in terms of understanding the game. I can ssure you i follow the scene but when you see that the second best player in NA is Vibe(no offense), her WCS run doesn't mean much. Hopefully Idra and Huk start getting good results(Idra is on the way), but for now, the NA scene is pretty much far behind EU. NOt attending big lans for obscure reasons doesn't help her case neither.
You have a point regarding Vibe being the runner up, but I do believe Scarlett is a fantastic player and I would pick her as the favourite against many europeans. You'll see her in DH this weekend.

Voted for: NonY/Minigun (NA) & BlinG/MaNa/Ret (EU) GOGO!

Scarlett and Sen are the only logical choices for the NA/SEA/Asian region. Nobody else even comes close to the skill these two have.

He's busy playing in his country's SL.
He should be up there as he's always dangerous.

Meanwhile he was crushed by Macsed after beating an awful MMA in the only tournament he played outside Taiwan.

Or did I really miss something ? He was in GSL season 1 this year and went back to Taiwan after that. I voted for him because I think he is one of the best two players on the list.
Sen won 2-0 against SlayersMMA, and won 4-0 against GhostKingPrime. This year he only attended few big event because he had matches of TeSL every week. Sen is still very strong, maybe more strong than last year!! :D

Damn, the Americans lineup looks so frail compared to EU

Why is this done based on popularity? This is probably the least best thing you could do for this, Gj ruining it.

Ah yes, the awful MMA. I know him, he's won a lot of tournaments, hasn't he? And this MacSed guy, he's Chinese, I'm sure you know A LOT about him.

I believe Major still has the hidden potential within him. He hasn't gotten enough chances to prove himself.

need more GoOdy, Koreans can't handle his play! (Nestea, MMA)

i picked Grubby (P), Nerchio (Z) and Kas (T) for Europe. For US i picked Scarlett (Z) and Major (T)

because they want people to watch it, it just so happens in this case that the best players are also the most popular, so I don't see your problem tbh

I think eu top 16 looks really good. Ofc skillwise Titan, SortOf and BabyK, maybe Happy should make the cut, but TLO, White-Ra are obv big fan favourites. I hope they wont make it out of the bracket, so we can have a good representation for the world team.

It's a shame that SortOf and slivko isn't Top16...

Dude there is 16 freaking players being picked on popularity and then they will have to fight it out for the spots. Its not like the two most popular get the spots automatically. 16 players is quiet a lot because i doubt there will be 16 ppl who are really good and missed out because everyone voted for 16 more popular players.
