Please... I was making fun of the fact that they called it a "cloaked unit" when it is clearly not. It is a unit that can burrow and is stationary. It is not like it can run into a mineral line and do massive damage like a banshee or DT or burrowed infestor. If youre that bad that you let that happen well then, maybe YOU need to learn the game.

I really like the design now! let's just wait and see how it plays out and probably change some numbers for better balance, but conceptually the design is great now!
P.s. if you want mech to be viable vs Protoss, I suggest to wait and see what kind of buff tanks and widow mines might need, and then just buff these units instead of brining back stupid war hounds.

Burrow is essentially cloak, and considering that the mine can only attack when in a burrowed position I don't think it's too far of a stretch to call it cloaked. I could see mines being used very well to snipe transfering queens. I think it'd make it hard for a z to take a 3rd before lair considering there will be a burrowed unit blocking their expansion. That in itself is pretty significant.

I mean paying for them is one thing, but having them take away from your army supply is ridiculous. That was the beauty of spider mines, is that they came with the vulture which you were going to make anyways and you could create basically free minefields. Costing minerals/gas AND supply is just retarded

God forbid zerg actually has to use 50/50 to get an overseer... and yes it is a stretch to call it "cloaked" lets think of the units that do have cloaking, ghosts, banshees, DTs, and observers. What do all these units have in common? They can MOVE while cloaked, the widow mine cannot. NOT a cloaked unit

Doesn't the Widdow Mine auto attack? One sacrificed Zergling and the expansion can be taken.

Well, toss has the most demanding basic units. First of all, you have to strike a balance (so no holding down the "R" button, until enough roaches are made to kill everything) which units you build, then you have to micro your forcefields right. Waste them, and no unit is gonna come home (unlike these blazing fast zerg units and stimmed bio).
Of course terran bio needs micro too, but it's not their basic units, that are the problem, but the lack of a tanking unit and the vulnerability of their high tech units (all of them possess a purple bar...). Let's see how battle hellion does it's job, now that it's not a warhound spam game.
And please refrain from calling a race not demanding. If you think a race is too easy, play it, win the GSL, then I'll trust you.

i think what blizzard have in mind is a new unit not the warhound but another unit instead lets see what it is first before buffing the tankss and widow mine

Spider mines in BW were free and people learned how to play against them, sacrificing some units to clear them was one of the options. I can only laugh when people complain about these things now

I'd say it's more about ghosts, banshees and DT's able to use their primary attack while moving and being cloaked.

They need to quit dumbing down this game, the fact that they changed the oracle ability to help "lower skilled players" is ridiculous. They need to get rid of auto mine at beginning of game, showing scan range, etc. Things like that are killing this game as an esport
