When did this start? I might missed the actual date in the OP but I can see they raised over $700.000 already, it's beyond amazing. And... this project will last for at least 40 days more, speechless in the good way. I am beyond sad every time when I see that for donation only option I have is Paypal... which my country doesn't have (yeah, there are countries that can't use Paypal by any means and it's depressing). Every 1$ counts and I hope SC community will chip in, 1$ is basically NOTHING for every single one of you. Good job and best of luck with ongoing project! | ||

There was a story I saw on reddit like a month ago about a man who lived for a year without eating he started at like 450 pounds and lived off vitamins and water. As long as one stays hydrated with water they can live for a long time without food. He mainly fasted because he wanted to raise attention for his cause. | ||

There's plenty of people who fasted for more than a month. Your body starts "eating" your fat reserves and muscles. Athene also made it a lot easier for himself since he drank fruit juice and not just water. | ||

One pound of body fat can be used for 3500 calories, which is quite a bit more than the average person needs in a day. | ||
