It's not your skill that's getting you out of trouble, If you worked an honesty day in a cashiers job you'd understand that you can't really check everyone. If you do, the customers get weary, and it makes your job miserable. It's just not fun to mistrust people. I have two friends who used to steal, one got caught, so the other one stopped right away. I advise you do the same. Her criminal record makes it insanely hard to get a decent job, and that's overlooking her prison sentence.

There is nothing scary or criminal about this guy. You peole really haven't realizes at all what is going on and why he posted it.
He's just a bit of a narcissist. He gets off on posting how awesome and cool he is by stealing Pokemon cards and headphones from an Apple shop. He's barely 20 for God's sake, how can you look at this and not pity him for being such a dumbass?
He's pathetic, not scary. That stupid talk about ancient Romans or whatever and how he thinks it's totally cool to steal and murder because "it should be allowed" (As an aside: this is what narcissists say, not criminals.).
Just a kid trying to buff himself up by being this awesome persona who "just takes shot glasses as souvenirs". Hey, Benze, admit that every time you're doing it you're shitting your pants because if they find out, you, and most importantly, everbody else will very quickly realize that you're not the cold-blooded criminal that you are but just a dumb kid.

I consider it a skill to realize that cashiers do not and cannot check everyone who walks into a wal-mart, the largest company in the world. Maybe skill wouldn't be the best word and maybe uh hindsight and planning would be better descriptory words?
Something that also just happened 'only in America'. The IPO of facebook, as you might have heard, was a huge let down. the IPO price was 38$, higher then what the ESTIMATED price would be. Furthermore, people have also started to try to sue facebook on being mislead. Facebook never said that it's stock would be the go to stock to buy. It was just assumed that it would be considering the similarities between other companies like Google and Apple and that a company as successful as facebook would probably be a good company to invest in. It's kind of funny because when you "invest", you don't invest in a short term. You invest long term. 2 weeks and people are already mad at facebook because they expected somehow that the supply/demand of it's stocks would somehow increase it's stock price because of its high demand...?

Oh I'm sorry. Did I say how awesome and cool it was to steal petty shit from stores with lax security and then make a brag blog on teamliquid saying how awesome I am for doing it?
Why do you think I'm trying to be scary? I also never took the side for murder. I just used an example from history and a different time period where different values and morals were in place during that current society (such as slavery) and justified the fact that things are accepted as right or wrong based on what people think during that time period and not because it is actually right or wrong. Another example would be the Aztecs. I certainly don't agree that it is right that they sacrified people to their gods, but I know that this happened and I accept that fact. Theres nothing I can do about it, except comment on it and maybe try to understand further why they did that and what factors, most likely geographical-based, drove them to these actions.
If I had justified my actions by stealing by saying that Wal-Mart and Apple are two very very successful companies with profits in the hundreds of billions each year and that they wouldn't miss a less then trivial value of that profit? Am I truly hurting hard-working americans by stealing products from large corporations that are so big that one might say they have almost a mini-monopoly over their niches in the global economy?

i hope you get caught and spend the rest of your life in jail people like you make me sick and your justification for it is pathetic

Well, according to your "justification" on why you steal, I'm very much capable of telling you what you're doing is stupid/immature, and therefore, I have,

Hey I completely agree with you though. Hell, its borderline psychotic too isnt it?

If someone steals something from me then it's my fault that I was sloppy and let the item get stolen so yea its alright that people can steal from me. Im certainly not going to condemn them for their actions

I used to steal when I was young, so did all of my friends. When people are poor, they steal.
I finally stopped when I caught by an "ex-navy seal" turned "private investigator". It was pretty embarrassing at the time, to be caught by some old fat guy. I too believed I was God's gift to thievery.
It's not a big deal. Keep in mind though, once you turn 18 and you get caught stealing, you will get jail time and a record that will haunt you for the rest of your adult life.
Hard work and dedication is always superior to cheating.

You single out "America", yet you fail to realize shoplifting occurs in EVERY NATION ON EARTH.
I think you should learn a little basic history of your own country before posting such drivel..

The store hired a PI because they had a big shoplifting problem. I got caught stealing food o_O

Lol, the one time you get caught with something expensive is going to suck for you.
I don't think stealing is hard, but you really have to never, ever get caught or it just won't be profitable in the long run.

If you need to get caught to stop stealing things from stores, then congratulations, you just got caught.
We don't need people in our community who feel justified in stealing from us.
