It is yes, but usually it's used to denote something that's been seen briefly at a great distance, for example someone on a boat might say they've "sighted a whale". To me that doesn't make much sense in terms of a level of accuracy.
The disscussion you linked pretty much covered all the points I was thinking.
At any rate, an explanation on that page of how the LP admins define these terms might be really helpful. The term "concise" seems equally confusing as when I think of concise, I think of something being short and limited in scope.

In the context of the 4 ratings of the flagged revision system of accuracy it is the option between "unapproved" and "accurate" so it is stating that the page has been observed and didn't seem to have any inaccuracies. At least that's how I always interpreted the rating to be.

it would be so awesome if at the team pages, the sponsors would be logos instead of links, that way people can know what the awesome sponsors look like, it would also look super professional

The image attachment is not quite working (it's a private image on your g-mail as far as I can tell.)

NATE OSL number of players per race VOD links in SKY 2001 OSL linking to other VODs

Can I even do that?
edit - I'll try my hand at this.
edit 2 - Well I submitted changes to rounds 16 and 8 only to discover that I can edit the whole "results" part. I'm a noob.

Hello, 2nd post here, long time fan and visitor of TL.net.
I was wondering if there would be any plans on putting 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 strategies for StarCraft 2 as there are some for the BroodWar wiki. ???

-ty There have been some attempts to add 2v2 strategy, but I cannot judge how applicable they are. See: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Strategy at the bottom.
There are no "plans" to create a certain kind of page. People do it or they don't. If someone put a lot of effort into creating great 4v4 pages, we'd be happy about it and add those pages to the strategy page.

I tried to login at http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Main_Page to make a simple edit on the Terran strategy page. There is an awful sentence under the siege tank sub-section of the bionic section. I was going to smooth it out. I tried to login with my teamliquid ID but could not. I figure I am not a trusted user or that for some reason this morning the teamliquid wiki is not accepting logins for the moment for some reason and that I should just try later. What is the reason I cannot login there and make the sentence-level, non-strategy related edit?
Thanks.

Hi Mantisdolphin, this is the first time I've heard of this issue, everyone who has a TL account (and is not banned, which you're not since you're writing here should be able to log in and contribute. A few questions to help eliminate possible issue. Have you changed your TL user-name in the past? What is your IP-address? Have you ever been able to log in and edit Liquipedia previously? Have you ever edited Liquipedia back when you could do so anonymously?

Dont really know if it's the right thread for this, but having the OSL and PL results in the "Latest results" box of the front page would be pretty neat

This is my first time attempting to login. I think the problem was trying to login on my iPad with Safari. There is a message on the Liquipedia wiki page stating that cookies need to be turned on. I thought they were but Safari on iPad seems to have quirky ways of handling some sites, e.g., of course no flash is allowed on iPad still.
I have been successful in logging in through my desktop using Chrome. I was able to edit the sentence too, although the sentence after it is a bit of a train wreck too. I think it just dawned on me what the writer was trying to say and I think I can make the prose better rather easily.
Thanks for the prompt reply!!

Hopefully this is the right place for this... The front page "latest results" for may 24 "GSL Div 1 Week 7" is really for NASL Div 1 Week 7. Just a minor thing ofc but I thought maybe someone should fix it.
Edit: fixed

Regarding the BW/SC2 PL games, can you guys please use the names that BW players are actually known by in the foreign scene? For example, no one knows who Goojila or StarDust are - they are known as Kal and M18M. Some Koreans change IDs regularily, and it's common for the foreign scene to just stick to the one they are known by best. It's important to decide on proper names now before we get hundreds of references to these names. For example, see the disagreement on the Air Force ACE page.
Cross posted from the TLPD Feedback Thread, where I originally posted this by mistake. As you can see there, the default IDs for TLPD are the foreigner-known variants.

Is there a reason why BBoongBBoong's page now lists him as "BBoong"? Everywhere else, such as on the GOM site and TLPD still list him as BBoongBBoong. Also, I am pretty sure that is what casters still call him. As a side note, he is still called BBoongBBoong in the Prime team roster box at the bottom of the page.

BBoongBBoong is such a long name that it pretty much breaks the formatting of every match, bracket, etc that he's in. An executive decision was made to shorten it to BBoong on liquipedia because of this.

The policy is to use the ID that they are currently competing under (excepting people like BBoongBBoong.Prime.WE who have insanely long IDs :o ). Looking for an alternate ID should redirect to the correct page with their current ID, and if not a redirect page needs to be made.
