I just had to make a post about this quote ... And I have no idea what I want to say. It just really struck a chord with me. I never quite know what to post here at TL.net in regards to progaming because I'm never sure about what is common knowledge and what is completely new and unknown (I'm often surprised about people who quote random things I've said and compliment me on my knowledge of progaming) but one thing that became very clear to me was that G.O's situation wasn't very known here. They really were going through some rough times and more than once the OGN film crews captured Xellos and the coach crying to themselves when their team lost a match. It was really hard to see. One thing I'm thankful for is that The Storyteller actually made something like this. Some people may have been excited because the G.O team had Xellos, and since Xellos is good, that must mean the team is awesome and rich and comfortable. The exact opposite is true. The fact that someone like Xellos stayed with the team and shared responsibility with the coach is really, really touching. So, thank you for the interview and the documentary, Kevin. You really did some great work. When I saw you being interviewed on OGN, I thought nothing of it and even (just casually) asked you on the forums if that was you I saw. I'm really glad I followed up on your project, it was awesome. Good luck in the future.

I have been fortunate with my connection to uhjoo to be a (very) little bit closer to the situation. I can tell you that through uhjoo, I have heard nothing but praise for Coach Cho as well. GO was forced to lose many of its big names because of money, Midas and rA being the obvious two. However, as Xellos decided not to run for the money, Coach Cho also decided to stay. He could have chosen a sponsor that would have been less than the best for his boys, but instead he held out, and now look. He has one of the best deals around. Both Xellos, Cho, and the rest of the crew are to be commended for staying the course and seeing the fruits of their labour.

If I was filming the Four Riders of the Apocalypse and 3 of them died on the first day of shooting, I'd want no one but Kevin there to fix things.

I just got to see the documentary recently, and I absolutely loved it. I also love this interview, and the insight that Storyteller graciously shares with us about the progaming scene.
