As a male that recently lost his dog. This song really touches my ability to cry. I've only cried once before and that was when I lost my mother. Then I recently lost my bestfriend, my dog. Your feet are cold and your body is rocking. This is the line that does me in, you know what it is to hold your bestfriend while he passed. His feet went cold, and my body did not want to stop rocking from how much pain and dispair I was in.
My bestfriend, he was there when I was alone. He was there when I needed him. He was truly my bestfriend.

Way to go man. You sure showed him. I bet he cried when he came out of the womb too /facepalm maybe next you can go through his post looking for grammatical errors to correct.
I dread the day that one of my cats will die . Whenever they are being loud / annoying I try to think about how the time with them is limited so I don't get as annoyed. Goyte is a great artist as well. Hope you will be able to move on without too much pain.
I think its more the fact that when it happened, I cried for so little time and tried to man it out. And this song really ending up hitting the note for me to release all the tension.
Months ago, I watched my dog cough out poison spilling out from its liver, barely able to breathe or even comprehend words she so often responded to. I feel your pain.
Ahhh shit man, I'm soo sorry. Cry man, don't be ashamed, I cried like a baby back bitch when my dog died a few months ago. Wrote a blog just like this too! Perfect memorial for him.
I fear the day that my dog passes. I got her when I moved to a college after High School. She was literally my only friend until I found people that I actually clicked with. She is still alive (only four years old) but she is still the greatest joy I have. She stays with my grandparents because she keeps them young just as much as they keep her young.
Never feel ashamed to cry over the death of a family member or a friend. Just because someone wasn't born from the same mother and father doesn't mean they can't be part of your family.
RIP Shockeyy's pup. You will both meet again. True Best Friends Forever.

P.S. Just talking about my dog like that makes me get teary eyed.
Thanks for all the support guys and I'm truly sorry for your losses as well. We can all share the pain of how it is to lose our bestfriends. He was one of the most beautiful dogs in my eyes that for sure
Lost mine on January 25, 2011. I know exactly how you feel and im sorry. All you can do is remember the good times. Leave things like regret alone. trust me.
Take a day off and go to a place you both loved. Close your eyes and try to remember everything you did together throughout the years. Honor his memory everyday.
