Ok, so if you haven't seen it yet I've been working on a project for about six months or so on mouse technology. I originally wanted to release this project about 300 posts earlier, and thought that I would, but then I would keep being delayed, and then delayed again...and again. Well, needless to say When I finally realized that it was about time to release the project in earnest, I noticed my post count was about 980, so I decided that I would try to do house cleaning until I reached that big ol' 1000 mark and release it as my milestone (thank god for that, bc I caught some silly things too).
If you're interested in reading about mouse technology, or want to be fully informed about making a very critical purchasing decision you can go read An Overview of Mouse Technology, though I'll warn you, its a near 17.5K word article so it may take some time.
Now that that's out of the way, I do want to just talk about some of the great things that have gone on since I've been visiting TL regularly, but first some stats !
Number of times warned: 0
Number of times banned: 0
Average blog rating (when rated): 4.2
Number of useful threads created: maybe 7?
Number of stupid threads created: 1... Fuck.
Below are some of the highlights of stuff I've done, or read on TL that have been impactful for me:
- My first post, an coincidentally my first blog. I was horrendous at SC and Sean helped me to quickly identify the tools that I needed to improve.
Around mid to late 2011 started to really delve into watching BW (why did I miss all of this great stuff when I was in high school and college?). When the MBC In Memoriam thread was released, holy #$*!@ I did nothing for 3 days just eating up all of the content and the VODs. Seriously guys, that article was amazing, and can be found here: http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=307766 Also, I had some great moments when watching these great games, but the one that still stands out months later is Flash vs. Jaedong, and the power outage...holy...shit...that GAME!!!
Grandpa Toss' face is everywhere, and apparently is still going? Probably my best submission to that thread. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=105748¤tpage=64#1263
Flash is unimpressed, Bisu is a conspirator, and stork is philosophizing. Yep, this thread is amazing (we're too deck to talk about the other guy though). http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=305559
Who would have thought that I would take 2nd place in the Tt esports White-Ra contest. So awesome, especially because I won my new mouse among other things! http://www.teamliquid.net/blogs/viewblog.php?id=311911
Serejai's Gaming Giveaway is yet another reason why TL members are awesome! (didn't win anything, but still awesome)

Most of my other favorite things on TL are with my blog which I tend to use as a bunch of things, like talking about games, or things that are on my mind, or food, or a place to just simply having fun with my music or graphic art. Below are just a few of my favorites:

Those are some of my fond memories of the first 1000 posts. We'll see when the next 1000 will be, though based on how I tend to post in swaths of text, it probably won't be for a while.

I also know that I mentioned in a previous blog, but I really am getting back to composition now, and will likely start a blog series to sort of give an insight into how a contemporary composer works on a piece of music. Needless to say that this series may be somewhat messy linguistically because of trying to translate musical ideas or instinctual ones onto paper.
