There's been a lot of buzz lately about BW pro's and the Brood War world finally engaging with StarCraft 2. (For example: Flash reported practicing and enjoying sc2, Blizzard-KeSPA-OGN-GOM SC2 Announcement May 2nd)
Adam Apicella (@MrMLGAdam) from MLG has just tweeted the following: Link
Well @kennigit the elephant certainly is in the room, eh? @mlg Anaheim. Buy your tickets now. This is presumably a reference to Kennigit's Intrigue's famous thread here on TL called The Elephant in the Room, which theorized about how the day would come when the truly top-tier Korean Brood War pro's would finally cross over into StarCraft 2 and demolish the competition.
Putting two and two together... should we expect to hear about the top Brood War pro's such as Flash, etc. coming over to MLG Anaheim to compete in StarCraft 2?

you know you could just wait 24 hours to be sure of the announcement right?

Doubt it, we all know it's not past MLG to word things cleverly to falsely imply shit that isn't actually going to happen

I can't wait to go to Anaheim and see Flash, DRG, MMA, Jaedong, Bisu, Mvp. Just a cluster**** of all my favorite players <3

It could also be for LoL. He also tweeted a pic of what appears to be a LoL booth, and OGN has been investing heavily into the LoL scene for a while. Plus, MLG has been hinting about LoL for quite some time.
Though some stuff about BW players and teams would also be possible.

Likely not Anaheim if it's on an invite system. Maybe a Summer Arena?
Anaheim would have to be open bracket, I think.

MLG Adam's later tweet (which is at the bottom of the OP) implies that the two big announcements tomorrow are going to be separate, and that this one will be later this month? (see below)

Doubt it, cause Kespa has the final word, and things even didnt get a start yet.

If BW pros are coming to MLG to play SC2, then does that mean we'll be able to see GSL players vs KeSPA players sooner than we thought?
I am definitely paying money for that if that's true, fuck Diablo 3, it can wait.

Anything that deepens the talent-pool of SC2 is great. Might need to make the tournaments have a larger pool.

I fucking hate these announcements of an announcement. It pisses me off. Why cant they just make the announcement a surprise instead of saying "OMG GUYS WE HAVE A SUPER DUPER AWESOME ANNOUNCEMENT FOR YOU GUYS! ITS REVOLUTIONARY!" Agh.. well MLG hasn't disappointed us yet...

I am definitely paying money for that if that's true, fuck Diablo 3, it can wait. I hope not to be honest. If anything I think it should be simple show-matches between each other, because it'd be kind of detrimental to have them just get crushed due to not enough understanding of the game. Watching Boxer toy with Yellow was one of the hardest things I've had to watch, and I was super pumped for it at first too. I'd prefer waiting a bit for the teams to get a good grasp of the game before throwing them to the wolves so we get fun entertaining games rather than one sided slaughters.

in the tweet where you can see the booth, he said tomorow so this is probably about the fighting game arena

I feel like I'm going to be disappointed by whatever this Adam guy has to say.
