Scarlett joins Eclypsia - Page 24

Complaints about moderation and freedom of speech are for the website feedback forums. They will be treated as being off topic and dealt with appropriately. No more Iron Lady talk, no more gender debate. This is a thread about a StarCraft player. Last I checked what's in between your legs has no impact on how you play the game. I agree with some of the comments here that the moderation on this thread has been dreadful. It's way too soft. I have gone ahead and simply deleted a bunch of comments that fail TL's community standards. Yes, those standards are determined by the mods. Yes, those standards are not perfect nor even uniformly applied. But we try our best. Spare us your righteous indignation over any notional impairment of free speech. This is a private site. It's a club. There is no "right" to free speech here. We only tolerate quality speech. By who's standards? Ours. Go read the TL Ten Commandments. And if you don't like this policy or our way of running our house, leave. - mensrea

It would be quite a strange coincidence that the first female with a decent tournament showing was born a male were that not the case. It's totally irrelevant.. there's just A LOT less female playing. In my personal opinion, the reason there's less female playing full time is because the lifestyle is not attractive to them.

On joining a team, thought Quantic would try to grab her. Or perhaps they did. Anyone know when she's supposed to start streaming? I want to see her play after that ipl run so I can form an opinion or whatever I guess. We're not exactly spoiled with people coming from no where playing at such a high level, hope it wasn't a fluke.

They have destiny, sase, naniwa more than enough. Complexity dunno maybe didnt offer enough. Korean team? Whats good from korean team? Yeah you can probably go and live there for free +practice with koreans, so what? Im 80% sure you wont get any salary, and sure as hell they wont send you to events.

Coveted by all the top teams, .... I have nothing against her, actually quite the contrary, shes a very good player and i wish her the best. but this is simply untrue and just eclypsia trying to make themselves seem more of a prominent or "top-tier" team, in-which they are ofcourse not..

You probably don't get the opportunity to sign already established top NA players often and it's probably not cheap either. No need to sign another noname player just for the hype and "potential". Not to mention the fact that it would be probably much cheaper to find better players on EU.

Why would they sign noname Scarlett who has no results if they can find better players out there, not necessarily from NA? I mean that there is no point for them to sign her, since they already got female players (that attract attention by being pretty) and Destiny (who attracts attention by being Destiny), as well as skilled guys like Nani and Sase.
