I'm growing tired of my Xai-- the buttons on the right side of the mouse which i never would use (cause I'm right handed) really annoy my fingers while im playing.
The mamba does not have these annoying buttons on the right side. It also has a lot of other perks like wireless (supposedly without any problems.. i like this cause my mouse cord annoys me a lot), and some 4g sensor precision system. I also like how the right / left button is designed (feels like there is less "distance" to actually register a mouse click" compared to the Xai). Not to mention I always see all of the SlayerS (and TL I think) players using it in the GSL, which does make me want to use it more :D
I'm not a fan of Razer keyboards, but the Mamba is alluring. Do you think it's worth the 130$? If you have used it, how do you like it?

When confronted with decisions like this I think about how many candy bars I could buy with the money. If you buy candybars in bulk I think you could get them for roughly 40 cents each. So the question is really between the Mamba and 325 candybars.

motbob makes a very convincing argument

I would get the Mamba and then program its buttons to open the candy bars.

that is some quality advice right there. i don't think i'll ever have trouble with any monetary decisions from now on

Are the candy bars for eating, if so that would make you incredibly unhealthy.
If they are just for playing with then thats fine!

I have the Mamba and I love it, but even I would rather have 325 candybars than the Mamba... lol

I haven't tried either of these but with my experience with Razor I'v gone threw 5 mice and 4 of them were replacements of each other with in one year due to them burning out and one of them out of the box didn`t work (IMPERATOR). My one Steel Series mouse that I had a few years ago was really good but had to replace it dude to normal wear and tear (IKARI). Ended up giving up on Razor and going with the Tt Black Element gaming mouse.

candybars indeed, i like that comparison.
I don't understand, people should use logitech g1 mouse. dpi is already set perfectly, glides so smooth its a classic. Not big but not small either, unless u got gigantic hands

Haha. Personally, if I were in the market for a mouse and had your considerations, I would go for a razer death adder and a mouse bungie (or just a piece of tape) for the cord.
Then again, I don't know your economic situation so 130 might not be that much to sneeze at.
Candybars! ( as long as they're not crappy).

I have used both. Xai is far superior imo. I don't see why you would want a wireless mouse anyway. Deathadder is better than Mamba too, and much cheaper. I think most of the players are using Deathadders. IMO the sensor of the Deathadder just feels better in games to me and for me I don't think they are even close in comparison (Deathadder vs Mamba). So no, in my opinion it is worth $130. It feels cheap and the Deathadder is better.

As soon as my Razer Naga dies (it just wont lol) than im getting the Deathadder.

i have the mamba. slickest mouse ive ever owned. as precise as you want it, wireless with no issues, braided cord, customizable, ergonomic, everything you could want in a mouse. totally worth it.

If you have the money, just buy it, then you can really put it to the test yourself. If you don't like it as much, you can always go back.

If you don't need to wireless possibility of the Mamba, just get a DeathAdder. It's basicly the same mouse.
I have a Mamba, because the mouse just look so badass. It was an impulsive buy. I'm not having any problem with it beside the scrool wheel being a bit buggy ( pressing it for scrolling and stuff don't always work well ) It's up to you to decide if 130$ in a mouse is worth it. The quality is here but it's still pretty damn expensive for a mouse.

Buy cheap logitech mouse. That way, you can buy a lot of candybars but still have good reliable mouse.

I love my deathadder. Never tried steelseries mice. When debating between getting a steelseries or razer mouse, I just looked at whatever looked more comfortable for the size of my hand.
edit: dont get a logitech mouse >.> have tried a few of those. Hate them.
