I personally find the Abyssus amazing and fulfilling despite some jitter issues on my TL Goliathus. None of these mice are equal to 325 candy bars.

Candybars (70) Razer Mamba (18) 88 total votes Your vote: Mamba or 325 candybars? Well this is obviously an equation for morbid obesity. We just need to figure out the amount of hours the typical Mamba lasts, and how many calories he will conserve by sitting down and playing games, instead of standing. Then we need to get a rough estimate of which candy bars he will be eating. We will then take that information and multiply the total calorie count by the Obesity Multiplier, leaving us with the Gastric-Lard Coefficient. We then need to figure out the rough distance (in Kilometres, of course) that he will travel on foot to obtain the candy. We convert that number into a Basal heart rate, which we then reverse engineer to determine the percentage of childhood memories he has retained. We the sum up all of these numbers to calculate the Marginal Propensity of Lordship (in the next ~7 years). But what if he is also sitting when he eats the candy bars? Well fuck... I'll be back with a better equation shortly.

Razer laser mouse = bad Stick with the Xai or get a DeathAdder if you want a large-ish 5 button mouse.

My one Steel Series mouse that I had a few years ago was really good but had to replace it dude to normal wear and tear (IKARI). Ended up giving up on Razor and going with the Tt Black Element gaming mouse. My mx518 is 5 years old, 3 of them were on iccup playing 500 games a season. It works like brand new, only the logo worn off.

Xai has built in acceleration = bad I've also heard issues with the drivers on the Xai which = bad Mamba is also dual wireless and wired, so you can use it as either. Though the DeatherAdder or Abyssus would probably be much better options since the Mamba 2012 edition is $130. Actually TL Mouse Thread = lots of information and best advice on the planet :D :D :D -edit: url fail

The Phillips Twin Laser in the Mamba is much worse than the Avago 9500 in the Xai. Well I personally would rather deal with the z-axis issue on the PTE instead of built in acceleration and driver issues. -edit: and I'm pretty sure the Xai has angle snapping. But again, Abussus and DeathAdder are definetly better options. No reason to spend over $100, and no one realistically needs 5600 DPI/CPI.

Also, this might be controversial, but I don't think prediction is a detriment in all games. In CS, most of the time you're on level ground and you line up where the opponent will be before you turn the corner. In that case, I prefer more vertical resistance (which is why Artisan mousepads are slicker laterally than vertically.)

I really don't think players in most genres notice the 5% acceleration, unless you're playing QL. Also, this might be controversial, but I don't think prediction is a detriment in all games. Well most players don't have well developed muscle memory, but high level masters players and ICCUP C and above would probably be pretty frusterated. It's also reducing the accuracy of the mouse cursor as the sensor input is being artificially multiplied. Though I know there are some people out there who like it, so I guess it still comes down to a personal choice. And yeah I've heard that argument about CS before, and I guess I don't necessarily object. But a high level SC2 player would almost certainly notice a difference. Actually anyone whose developed sufficient muscle memory with a game would notice a big difference. Most people probably would not though, and in fact everyone using a Steel Series mouse is already dealing with it and don't notice it.

You know you can buy them in like 10 packs at Walmart for like 5 bucks right? -edit: sorry, 6 for 3.94 http://www.walmart.com/ip/Milky-Way-Caramel-and-Nougat-Chocolate-12.3-oz/10452982 and even cheaper when on sale.
