The library is pretty nice, but I study late and would rather not have to make the trek back at 2AM. I don't really like studying there as well-- it alternates between too isolated in the stacks, and a bit too out there in the "speaking" floors. Too isolated, I'll just start watching a movie or lose myself on the internet. Too noisy, I cant concentrate, and I'll probably find a friend and just good off. There's a really nice reading room, but most spaces are taken and the chains at the end are waaayyyyyy too comfy. I only go there for projects or for serious studying with friends.
The thing that bites my butt is that I'm staying in such a shitty dorm, yet I pay the same amount as kids in the really nice new ones.

No, the top of the table is sitting in the parlor still. They didn't even take it for beer pong (in which case they could have taken the whole table). Speaking of pool tables, we have on in the rec room, except someone managed to break the pool balls. Little confused about that.
Yeah, I might come off as having a stick up my butt, but I just expect some nice things in my dorm, and that we can keep them that way. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE NICE THINGS? Anyways, I'm going to be a Sophomore Advisor next year. Unfortunately, freshmen and sophomores have to live on campus and buy overpriced mealplans-- I was originally hoping to survive on eggs next year (18 for $3 at Sam's!). I don't mind people doing stupid shit as long as it doesn't affect me. *muttersabouthosedamnfreshmen*
