This vs. an iPod shuffle is that this has a screen so you can choose what track you want. If you don't care then maybe the Shuffle is better.

I've had my lugged big and fat mp3 (30gigs) for about 6 years now (since 2006) and I love it. Looking for the same big chunky mp3s is hard as hell if it's not an Apple (which I do not want D:<) Sandisk, is that still an option? I know Creative still makes a lot of decent mp3s + Show Spoiler + iriver h320 /h340 ? ive been running this with rockbox and a bigger hdd for ages now. sadlyit doesnt last very long anymore :/ need to find a new mp3 player with a lot of capacity without bering waaay too big.. I own a creative Zen mini (or stone not quite sure how its named). Its labout as big as my thumb, has a lil screen, radio and even a little speaker. i like it. was like 30 bucks two years ago

Too bad the second gen ( Fuze+) is crap compared and the prices doubled since I bought my player 3 years ago. If you can get the original Fuze, stick a rockbox on it and you are good to go. Too bad I lost mine last summer when i sank in a bog. On March 16 2012 14:31 MaV_gGSC wrote: Just buy one at your local store with your desired price. Remember tho: What you pay for is what you get. Actually quite untrue regarding mp3 players.

Reason being I want to have some space and flash drives just aren't that big yet and if they are, they're crazy expensive.

Wouldn't advise any other player in it's price range, it also does microSD which is nice.

Remember tho: What you pay for is what you get. this. you get what you pay. if youre price range is 30 pounds youre not gonna get something super amazing that lasts forever. youre gonna have to live with something that isnt perfect. although i would recommend buying it on the internet since it will be cheaper (99% of the time).
