That way they got the last good 4-5 years out of peyton and will have Tannehill all trained and ready to go. There is zero chance Miami wastes a 1st round pick on Tannehill if they get Peyton Manning. Its a complete waste of top pick. No QB is going to want to sit around for 4-5 years and no organization dump top pick money into someone who wouldn't even touch the field until their rookie contract likely would be expiring (I think most 1st round QB contracts are between 4-6 years, atleast the most the recent ones I just looked up were). I truly believe he is good enough. So I don't think Houston will kick him to the curb to maybe get a lucky streak in Peytons last 3-4 years. Agreed. I don't think he is going to Houston either. He could help lots of teams in the NFC but I can't see him going there and meeting his brother in the playoffs. I dont think Peyton would have any issue with playing his brother. He comes off as being pretty damn competitive and I doubt he would ever think twice about beating down his brother in the playoffs or the regular season. That said I think Peyton goes to Miami. I think they have the best situation for him. Of the other teams that have been mentioned: Redskins: I highly doubt Peyton goes here. 1. I think the Skins are all-in on RG3. 2. Shanny Jr LOVES having complete control of his offense and he would basically lose his role to Peyton and I dont see that going over so well. Seattle: Peyton could head here. They could offer good money and they have good running game. However, their offense doesnt seem to have the weapons that Miami has. Arizona: I think Kolb gets another shot with the amount of money he is guaranteed for. I think signing Peyton would simply cripple whatever they have left in cap space. Even though Peyton would probably love to throw the ball to Fitz.

Agreed. I don't think he is going to Houston either. Not to mention, I find the idea of getting a QB in the first round and sitting him stupid in the first place. Even if he was willing to do it, why would you use your first round pick to pay a guy an extensive rookie contract and sit him for 3-5 years? It makes no sense. I hope Peyton doesn't go to Miami for the simple fact that he deserves better. I would love to see him to go Seattle and just beast that Division up.

This was hinted at in an nfl network article http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8277c5f3/article/breaking-down-every-teams-potential-interest-in-peyton-manning?module=HP11_cp

How healthy IS Peyton really? Could he possibly be near healthy enough to be his normal self? I wonder how much of a gamble some team is going to take by getting him.

If the franchise tag wasn't enough of an insult, that should be. what a bunch of fucking assclowns The hooplah surrounding the bounty system is really ridiculous. You get fined for so much as grazing a QB, let alone going at his knees or popping him in the head. A dude isn't gonna eat $25 or 50k to break someone's leg to collect $5 or 10k. People get injured all the time on huge hits that are entirely legal. Dungy is also an idiot who has become really insufferable since he retired. That's a standard high-low hit that got peyton there. It's not a blatant attempt to injure in the slighest bit. He's framing it that way because Williams was the coord and it is conveinent. It's not the greatest thing in the world, but to make it out like it is some kind of henious crime is insane, and it's really ridiculous to act as if it isn't a part of most locker rooms.

* Chiefs have already offered a contract * Peter King reporting that the Broncos are "desperate" to get Manning, but CBS Sports is calling it "unlikely" since Manning and Tebow have the same agents * Dolphins have not talked to him but plan to in the next couple days * Manning says he hasn't ruled out the Redskins * Jets trying to trade Wayne Hunter, possibly to clear cap for a Manning run * Local Houston media adamant that the Texans aren't interested * Cardinals need to know by March 17, when Kolb gets a $7mm bonus * Seattle Times reporting that the Seahawks are willing to change their offensive scheme to accomodate Manning

None of the other teams are as complete/have offenses as good as those two teams besides Houston but I don't think they dump Schaub that easily.

However, Manning said he prefers the AFC. The Niners used this as a way to further solidify their relationship with Smith and stated so immediately after. They also have to work on paying their own players. No point in causing unrest in your QB who is just starting to gain confidence with rumors of being replaced.

He is in Denver now and plans to visit Miami and Arizona. Washington hasnt even heard from Manning although they have shown interest. So it appears DC may be out.

That being said, I'd be quite happy with a real wideout. Wayne would make me happy. He'll come in at a lot less than the other guys out there.
