Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear:
Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams.
Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV. |

Technical difficulties were still there, stream UI buggy as hell, downtime was only replaying earlier games, interviews/interaction mostly took place whilst other important games were happening. Also for that price I'd like to see an arena of people, bad ass music, strobe lights and firework ceremonies amongst other crazy cool shit. But yeah, not bad, just wouldn't pay $20 again. sundance said there would be 2 arenas for spring... so i guess 2 arenas per season since this was winter. then that would be 8 arenas at 20 bucks per if they keep their price plan... since he claimed this was success, i don't see why he would reduce it at all =_=

Have to get rid of extended series. The ending was so lackluster because of it, nobody realized he won till a minute after the game, Even MKP

It is part of the game deal with it. Obviously these people never followed BW. Seriously. I never understood the SC2 community's fanatical hatred of cheese. In BW it was accepted as part of the game. Almost every single player did it from time to time. It was just part of the overall strategy of winning a series.
Try not to romanticize things too much, especially not when fan favorites are/were involved. Look at any recent PL LR involving, for instance, Bisu.
Flash was also once known as "little bastard terran" because of his cheesy play when he was starting out.
It's not so much that the BW community hates cheese any less than the SC2 community, it's just that there are more people posting in the SC2 threads now.

If you make a 10 muta timing u have 100/800 min/gas and this is optimize too.
Im sure MKP is better than you in judging and executing optimized builds

This was 3 days worth of hours upon hours of gameplay, casting, and interaction, that definitely warranted a PPV model.
Get used to it nerds. Save your benjamins.
PS - GO DEMUSLIM and glad minigun took a game off Huk but he could have taken him out, Huk didn't perform well. You can't compare apples to televisions.
You can compare it to other pay SC2 events and free SC2 events though. MLG was a horrendous value.
Assembly was better all around - crowd, production, non- issues, games, announcers. Free. Only thing MLG had was better player set.
GSL is cheaper and is better in every way.
MLG is a terrible relative value. I don't care what dishwashers or UFC cost I buy things on relative value. Meaning I'd give everything I owned for a glass pof water in the Sahara. But I won't give a dime for a half asssed production in a sea of better FREE tournaments and cheaper superior tournaments.
BTW - no saving needed- nerds are smart enough to figure how not to pay anyway for bits and bites;)

Strongly disagree, since no one is actually there. What matters is what we see online, in the browser. And what we saw there was at least for me, fluid high resolution video. While some of the caster setups did look a little bit like the corner cubicle in some sad worker bee office, I personally alt+tab anyway when I'm seeing a caster's face and not gameplay. Unless it's tastosis. Tastosis is pretty cool.

But $20 for this event didn't seem all that great (and I managed fine just reading Play-by-Play's).
yes, like I said many times over. Show me why you are bringing them down in the first place. Did they? Honest answer, no.
Although, the quality of the games was very, very good.
I hope they got a lot of promotional materials out of them for the upcoming events but we really didn't see anything noteworthy of why they were there.
Lan/latency would be great. Yet we still have players d/cing and MLG tried to accomodate and give them the best conditions to play.
We could have seen the talent used a little more better. Grubby and Sheth casting was a nice addition.

Games were great all weekend (even the finals, shut up about "cheese", seriously).
Was a really "boring" event though. 0 hype, 0 crowd, and the interviews/analysis was actually kind of lame and lackluster. Really hope they don't do this again... Not even going to talk about PPV, just a boring event over all (minus the sick games).

People can streamcheat/have people giving advice during game/cross server lag, if it's played online. You can have a few minute delay on that stream so streamcheating wouldn't be viable. You sacrifice doing stuff like asking viewers about poll stuff then.

This is the first time they've done an event like this. Of course its not going to be optimal. But if they can increase their production value while keeping the same crazy good high-level games, then the PPV will be definately worth it.

He got double upgrades+his first siege tank and siege mode at the same time which is around 450-500 gas if im not mistaken. It seemed to work perfectly.

I found the casting a little disappointing. Artosis was interesting as always but he misread the last game big-time. Others were neither entertaining nor insightful (the JP+Wheat duo was abysmal). Would love to see more of Grubby in the future tho.

this end was the lowest ive seen in my life :D even im more celebrating when im winning a ladder game. and the casters didnt mind aswell. funny.
gg. okay cu guys.

12 / 14 is a pretty standard form of aggression and in no way cheese at all.

He will win next season of Code S trust me he only lost to a gimicky 2 base Deathball. He won't make the same mistake again MKP will show to all those who deny his true power that he is the true master.
