Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear:
Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams.
Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV. |

wasnt meant to be but stream was free all weekend anyways.. and yea missing day9 and the crowwwd was neeeded for a ceremony at the end

This.
If anything, a huge event like MLG Providence is more worthy of adopting a PPV model, I'm too frugal to buy it unless it was $10. But $20 for this event didn't seem all that great (and I managed fine just reading Play-by-Play's).

Oh yeah, that's my boy! I'm so happy for MKP right now! I loved everything he's done in those games he won and i feel like DRG wasn't playing so well. Last game feel like DRG was mentally crushed. Those drones walking into death for no apparent reason, his double T3 tech rush with no real army to do it, i don't know, very strange decision he took. Anyway, so happy for MKP Good job!

People can streamcheat/have people giving advice during game/cross server lag, if it's played online.

So MKP is the true Dong he will win Code S next season noone can beat him in TvZ and TvT you watch he will destroy everyone. I'm a huge MKP fanboy and all, but you should calm down LOL. and why would you cite his TvT rather than his TvP.
disappoint.

But yeah, not bad, just wouldn't pay $20 again.

Sorry, just cause he played well on one day, doesn't mean anything when you're comparing him to someone like DRG who has been consistently beast like for almost a year now.

He lost the first MLG bo3 vs DRG too. maybe it just takes him a while to warm up...

While that's great, I just wonder if all those players will actually show up? :/ All expenses paid for a chance to win more money, yeah I doubt all of them will show up ;p Are the regular MLGs all expenses paid? Because it was only those 4 invited koreans that got expenses paid in 2011, right? Not the pool players... top 16 arena gets all expense paid trip to the championship event (they also get seeded into the pool play) I mean obviously for the first event, not the champ event. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Just wondering about if those seeds will all actually be used up, since last year plenty of koreans didn't really seem to care much about the points for the last event. im not sure what your talking about but I already made it clear top 16 of winter arena gets all expense paid trip to MLG columbus championship and will be seeded into pool play (it doesn't matter if your korean or not, there is no exchange program) You didn't clarify about getting all expenses paid about Columbus, or well I read it as the final event at the end of the year. But from your reply, I guess you actually meant Columbus, so yer.
there is no final event. if you paid attention to mlg's format, you would know that they separated into seasons there is no final event for the entire year b/c now the championship events are separated into 4 seasons

Yeah, the next arena definitely needs a crowd. MKP wins, there's a single golf clap in the studio and even tastosis didn't exactly go wild. It even seemed like they weren't sure if he won the tournament.
That all said, it was an amazing tournament and definitely worth the money. It is just the best thing out there if you're a fan of foreign players. Bottom line is that its the best line up of foreigners and koreans and they're playing each other! Where else are you going to get that?
Also, MLG simply has the best client out there. Multiple simultaneous streams in whatever configuration you want.... its starcraft overload.
Anyway, great event. Just get a crowd next time.

I mean fine, save up on gas, but you will never be able to go tier 3 without any infestors at all, so he should've atleast made 3 or so infestors right as he could and then have likely 3 fungals more later on.

Greatly agreed, I felt very bad for MKP for finally achieving something after so many tournament finals, only to get complete silence in return. No audience = no more PPV for me.

Great tournament, non-fairytale ending if you were cheering for huk and drg.
Also very very sad to see how protoss got rolled by both terran and zerg at the end. Very sad indeed.

You can have a few minute delay on that stream so streamcheating wouldn't be viable.
