Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear:
Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams.
Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV. |

DRG the losers bracket
IF MKP won the first Bo3 - MKP wins tournament
BUT DRG won it 2-1 ; now because it is double elimination, MKP drops down to the losers bracket and faces DRG again
Since they have faced each other before (in the first Bo3), the score carries through - with DRG starting with a 2-1 advantage from the first Bo3
just to add to this. This is the case because DRG and MKP have not met in the tournament before. Had DRG and MKP played earlier IT would have gone straight to an extended series with whoever had won the series starting with a 2-1/2-0 advantage.

DRG looks so badass ingame, and outgame too!

All Streams work perfectly fine her, for free obviously Oo

i only agree with the extended series rules in this situation. only if the players didn't meet before in the tourney and meet for the first time in the finales. its perfect winners bracket gets an advantage if he wins the first BO3 but if he loses the first BO3 its now just a BO7.

yeah that hasty attack lost it for MKP there. should have just massed up and killed the third again with more tanks and units.

We bought a product from MLG, MLG hired twitch to host their stream. Twitch might answer to mlg on this, but mlg is responsible for the product they sold to us.

Only if the players haven't already met in a previous round as well.

IT'S SUCH A SIMPLE FIX. GSLs manage it day in day out. I dont know how many times gom player has crashed on more or I couldnt get GSL to work. Its been quite a few though.

And thus, if MKP wins now, DRG drops down, and has to face MKP again. It's just like tennis.

Right, but they showed a replay of the exact time it went down, analyzed it, and fixed the problem. Do you expect there to never be a problem with anything you pay for? I understand the rage(I paid too), but there's no need to start a riot every time there's a minor occurrence of a problem where the rest of the weekend was fine.

Thank Nestea the stream is fixed.

Not everybody has money to throw away. Especially since the vast majority of the SC2 demographic is probably kids from 15-adults in their early 20s, many of whom might be in college.
Even if you're one of them and you have the money for this, not everybody does. I think 10$ is more reasonable personally - it's what they charged for a HQ pass on normal events (granted, you could just buy 3 months of silver with 10$)

I paid $20, and on crummy Indiana internet watched games all weekend @ 720 with almost no problem until just now, so you all really need to chill out. The timing was horrible but they've had 99% uptime and most of the people whining about slideshows don't understand networking, almost none of that was probably on MLG's end. Still, we all know that twitch.tv is far from perfect, and always has issues, and yet, tournament organizers chose to use it.
