Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear: Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams. Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV.

If you play risky in PvP that's your fault, and compositions are not coin flips but answers to what the other player has, so stop saying it is a coin flip matchup. Beating someone on pvp tells very small things about ones skill. Unlike pvz or pvt. In pvp you forget to scout a pylon and it's gg. Pvp has to much luck involved in it at the moment and I hate seeing great tosses end their run because they have to play a stupid pvp.

Ending a game because you scouted your corner of the bases 1 second early before the probe comes and puts a pylon there is not the same as a the matchup is hard. It's pure luck.

I might be wrong though.

Coin flippy in the sense that blind builds play a large role in determining who has an advantage, and you play the entire game on a razors edge so it's very easy to slip up and very hard to mount a comeback once you do. Also the fact that the games are almost always one base, sometimes 2, and protoss isn't very difficult mechanically to begin with makes the matchup even more dependent on builds and small micro advantages

Some people are just able to watch on the official website due to some unknown reason. Some people use incognito mode or adblock and for other it doesn't work even when using them. Seems to be blind luck.

just open the stream like you always do. °_° it worked for me fine too for 3 hours, then they said i need to subscribe. I refreshed the page, and it worked again. ^_°

Not quite as impressed with HuK's run, but I'm not going to bitch about it being *so easy* that he doesn't *deserve* to be where he is now. It's not like he played gold league players. Ret was especially on fire all tournament long... Not every area of the bracket is going to seem perfectly even to everyone, simply by virtue of there being different players in every spot, not to mention some upsets as the tournament progresses (so all the planning of the initial brackets could go right out the window by Round 2). QQ all you want, but it's hardly constructive. A win is a win, so get over it.

For me, at least one of the match streams has worked every single time I've checked out the MLG site, and I didn't pay for anything (since I've been away at work for most of the weekend and am missing a good 90% of the games, so I figured it would be a waste of money in this particular circumstance). ::shrugs:: No idea why I (and others) can get some of the matches on some of the streams. I'm just clicking the regular link, cycling through the streams, and occasionally refreshing.

Brackets and matchups matter. I don't understand why people make a big deal out of this time after time, as if there is some magical "actual" ranking of good players that every tournament should produce. That isn't how tournaments work - you live with the matchups you get and you do the best you can in those matchups. Over the long haul, you hope it evens out that you get some good draws and some bad draws.

Well, huk did claw his way back to victory after getting his dt opening COMPLETELY neglected in game 1. But I guess he got lucky there too?

I don't think that the people calling Huk amazing for his run so far are correct, but I'm not particularly angry about it. He doesn't have a good chance of winning anyway, especially if/when he comes up against DRG, Parting or MKP.
