Apparently some people are dumb enough to STILL be asking for it, so let's make things clear:

Do NOT ask for re-streams, and do NOT post re-streams.

Do not come here and muddle the thread by bitching about PPV.

Not quite as impressed with HuK's run, but I'm not going to bitch about it being *so easy* that he doesn't *deserve* to be where he is now. It's not like he played gold league players. Ret was especially on fire all tournament long...

Not every area of the bracket is going to seem perfectly even to everyone, simply by virtue of there being different players in every spot, not to mention some upsets as the tournament progresses (so all the planning of the initial brackets could go right out the window by Round 2). QQ all you want, but it's hardly constructive. A win is a win, so get over it.

that doesn't change the fact that huk had a comparatively easy route

Right, and I already said that, but some of the comments made were really over-the-top whining, as if the brackets were set up for him to make it through easily, or as if he doesn't deserve his current spot. The only way he doesn't deserve his current spot is if he didn't deserve to win the games he won (i.e. he cheated). And he won them fair and square (whether you think that the previous matches were cheesy or coin-flippy is your own problem- he still won them).

So merely making the observation that MKP had a relatively easier run than HuK is totally cool. But bashing HuK or anyone else- and trying to take away the current achievements that certain players have made thus far in the tournament- simply because of the way the players progressed and dropped over the course of the rounds, is too much. In my ever-so-humble opinion.

Pretty sure you mean the opposite there.

Yup sorry ^^ I'll change it lol. I hope my point was still made.

Are you saying it's NOT worth the 20 you spent? Or are you mad you had to pay while others enjoy it for free?

There's lots of things in the world that people legitimately pay for that others find ways to get for free. There's no reason to be mad about it.

I'm actually watching a restream so boo me but there's been several people gloating over the fact that they get to see it for free which is an especially shitty attitude.

It is not "stealing". Furthermore watching a restream does not take away bandwidth from ppv-users and paying would not lower the price for everyone. Please stick to the facts or do not post at all.

I agree. I don't think that the people calling Huk amazing for his run so far are correct, but I'm not particularly angry about it. He doesn't have a good chance of winning anyway, especially if/when he comes up against DRG, Parting or MKP.

So even though Huk is in the WB finals, and 2-0ed MKP the last time they met in an MLG (you know, in Orlando where he won), he doesn't have a good chance of winning?

Ok....

interesting note, you are stating assumptions as fact.

Yes it is not stealing, it would probably be a copyright violation but not stealing.

Wether you take away bandwith from ppv-users or not is not something you can know. All the glitched users watch via Twitch so they are in fact taking away bandwith, in case of restreams it depends on where they are hosted, but so far quite a few of the linked restreams were on twitch.

Frankly twitch's paywall is a disgrace, but what i personally find more disgusting is the amount of gloating on this board, frankly if someone insists on breaking the law they should be silent about it, not bragging about it on a public board. The fact that those people aren't getting banned instantly by the mods makes me wonder as well.

1. It's not stealing. you cannot take property by watching a restream
2. the people who have a glitch and can watch for free aren't stealing either, so your bandwidth assumption is flat out false. they don't count in this argument, they're not doing anything wrong. it's not their fault they can access the content, that's twitch's and mlg's fault for not fixing the bugs
3. What law?
Wut?
