If you had an Europe account or I an American account I would help you out . And I guess that the timezone might be a problem as well.

SEA account: ZetarA - 946 league wins, 30 custom games. Mostly 1v1s. League: Platinum. I don't think I've played more than 20 non-1v1s. NA account: ZetarA - 536 league wins, 35 custom games wins. All 1v1. League: Diamond, rank 18. I got the game in october 2010, and I started out in SEA server. It took me 350 wins to get out of bronze (really). Total of about 1.5k wins ~ 3k games to get to high plat/low diamond level. Once again, some people might say: but you're fricking diamond/plat, but ive taken a ridiculouly long time to get there.

I wish SC2 was around when I was in college, because I was a pretty serious PC gamer at the time (Q3Fortress then CounterStrike to a dangerous degree). I had a dedicated CS server in Jester Dorm and was leader of a clan. I can only recall us playing one actual clan war and we got stomped, but we would own on the server against the pub scrubs (ofc). I imagine if SC2 came out when I was a freshman in college (2000), I would have been pretty highly ranked, as I had a lot more free time. But who knows? I said "varying" degrees of likelihood, not "descending." :D No, I don't expect any TL Pros to respond, but I liked the idea of the pros sitting around reading all the blogs and occasionally showing mercy on the most pure of heart and sharp of reason (not that that is me). I mean...how would you react if you got that PM? On January 26 2012 16:31 Clazziquai10 wrote: I think I can challenge you for the title =3: SEA account: ZetarA - 946 league wins, 30 custom games. I figured there would be more people like me who wanted to argue for themselves; who wanted to stand up with pride and say, "I AM THE WORST!--HERE IS WHY!" But they would rather argue about who is going to win the GSTL :D. I guess I under-estimated the general level of masochism here. I am a little disappointed that I cannot find out the actual number of games it took me to get out of Bronze. Even if I could though, I am pretty certain that SEA Bronze is probably harder than NA Bronze, so it's hard to compare. Here is what I do know: I finished Season 1 still in Bronze. Rank 4 to be exact. Season 1 went from release to March '11. 8 months of Bronze. That is a long time -- I dont know how much I was playing at the time. I think it was 1-2 games a day a few days a week. But I wish I could find out the exact numbers. Season 2--Rank 1 Silver--OH YEAH BALLER. Season 2 was the first time I was made to feel ashamed of my slow improvement. I remember I roach rushed a terran on XelNaga--he held it easily. After the game he messaged me something along the lines of, "Oh man, I just looked at your profile. I have never seen so many wins for a silver player. You should quit. ololololo." I looked at my division and I had like over twice as many wins as the second place player. So tell me this Zetara--were you still Bronze at the end of Season 1? Do you have any other evidence or arguments to bring?

Do you have any other evidence or arguments to bring? Hahah I wasnt bronze by the end of season 1: in fact, I was gold. Rank 1! Up till then I had been playing exclusively on the SEA server. I still remember how ridiculously much I played - technically I registered the game in october 2010, but I only played single player and didn't start laddering until early december 2010 cos I was so afraid of the ladder at that time. Started out in the practice league - after 5 games played my placement matches, lost all of them, got placed into bronze. I got my queen portrait while in bronze LOL. However, promotions came really quickly after that - i got promoted to gold 20 matches after i got promoted to silver - no idea why lol. I registered my NA account in season 2 using the name "ZetarA". I actually changed my name to "URAMuThaFKer" shortly after but it was reported by someone i faced on ladder so i had to change it again, this time to "SeleCT" in honour of....yeah....SeleCT....but it still shows ZetarA in sc2ranks and battle.net for some reason. Anyway, I won all 5 placement matches on NA and got into plat. A couple of hundred more games in season 2 and I am promoted to platinum on SEA, and to diamond on NA, along with my infestor portrait achievement and stuff. I have never been promoted beyond that since. In fact, I have been demoted once on SEA, from platinum to gold - how EMBARRASING! Despite the fact that I watch tons of replays (both mine and pro replays - I have 450 MB worth of pro replays), I cant seem to improve any further. The current trend is that I would win 10 games in a row, come reasonably close to promoting, only to lose 10 games in a row and pound my head against my keyboard. Like you, I have played BOTH zerg and terran (MorroW style lol ), more recently i have stopped playing zerg completely though and am playing pure terran. I only started playing terran in season 3 and I would say that my terran is better than my zerg now. So here I stand now. 1.5k 1v1 wins in total as terran/zerg, and still stuck in mediocrity limbo. ALL of my friends have played less than half as much and are yet just as good, if not better than me - in fact, most of my friends are in masters right now, and till now I have never really seen anyone play more than me and yet be worse than me - You don't count yet Mr Black, you haven't played as much as me Maybe if u notch 500 more wins and still remain in gold, then I will whole heartedly cede the title to you I still believe I ain't the worst of the worst out there though *fingers crossed*, but when it comes to talent, seems that I'm just about as talented (or untalented) as you are Mr Black (no offence) P.S. Still, while doing my time in bronze - those were the days - I was still proud of one thing - I have never lost to a worker rush ! (Sorry Gheed!!)

Bronze -> Gold is easier than Gold -> Diamond imo.

A) I'm wayyyy too stubborn to try a 'normal' unit composition like marine marauder, or stalker colossus, or whatever the hell the zerg players do when they know what their doing(okay in this case I do want to know what to build), I almost always do something fairly silly, not cheese, but weird things like marine reaper, marauder -> thor -> battlecruiser(my variant on the 1-1-1 ), as toss I do forge ME(Mass expand which generally involves a metric shit tonne of cannons into void ray carrier mothership, surprisingly the most effective out of my stuff), the Icantdecidewhattobuildsoiamgoingtobuildeveryuniteverthenlosebecauseyouhavealmostnounits is an occasional build when I haven't played terran in a while, zergling ultralisk because all I know how to build as zerg are zerglings, ultralisks, drones, queens, and banelings(thankfully a simple step from zerglings). B) My macro has this tendency to not improve. Ever. And C) I have no idea what I'm looking for when I scout in a base, aside from where he spawned. But hell, if you want a practice partner I'm all for it. CidemTabiref.251 on NA server. Or if someone can mentor me at playing... Races.
