IEM Kiev: Counterjungling of unprecedented levels. Teams stepping up their games, fighting for buff respawns.

Can someone shed light on the Rain man drama?
|
He played poorly and it's easy for a lot of people to point at him as the weakpoint of TSM.

TheRainMan loses top game 1 pretty significantly as Irelia (vs Shyvana), so in game 3 he picks Irelia.. to go against Shyvana. Shyvana roams on him and he does nothing, she winds up like 4 levels ahead of him by 15 minutes. Nobody knows why the pick was made and why the game went so bad, so people are assigning blame to TRM for making that pick.

G1 of the finals rainmans irelia top gets owned hard by shyvana who then proceeds to push the lane into his tower and steal tops side of the jungle every time it respawns. Shyvana becomes unstoppable and m5 wins. G3. rainman irelia top again. same thing happends.
Now if rainman is to blame soly for this is ofc debatable but it was a major contribution to there loss atleast.

Finals game 1, he goes Irelia, gets raped.
Game 3, Shyvana/Skarner is M5's last set of picks, TSM still gets Irelia as their last and final pick.
Rain Man proceeds to get stomped on by Shyvana, who not only tears him apart in lane but also takes TSM's top jungle uncontested.

So I heard that he's getting benched. Is this true?

Errr the discussion about him getting benched was a few weeks back and then it would have made a lot more sense to bench him then because he was drunk during an online tournament. Also it was a fake rumor spread by Elementz who then said jk he is replacing Jatt, all of which was just to screw with people. They "baylifed" after TRM's drunken incident and I doubt they would do any different now. The fault wasn't just with TRM, TSM shares some of the blame this time. TSM will just work with what they have, they could pick up Dyrus if he wasn't on EG. TSM and EG are headed by two genetic brothers, but they are still separate teams.

Wow. That's actually pretty big. If they went through with it they would probably end up being incredibly strong. I mean, they play at the same level as some of the teams who do have team houses right now.
I wonder if that 200K Korean tournament starting in March is the Pro League that loco mentioned in his vlog.
