- Curse advances to quarterfinals despite having a last minute German substitute
- Wickd could have subbed for Curse but only if all teams of Group B agree. TSM vetoed.
- Sona massively less powerful she's only been picked 6 times as of the quarterfinals, and lost every game. Small nerfs seem to have had a big impact, though it just just be due to..
- Janna. Janna's been picked or banned in 91% of the games so far, and she has a 68% winrate for her team. Expect to see significant nerfs to her in the future, now that Riot realizes that they gutted everyone not named Janna in her role.
- Curse fails to win a single game without their German substitute, and their main player proceeds to play one of the worst games in the tournament.
