It's a pity for Nightend, but it would be unfair on Zenio as well
On another point, why do Koreans play so much worse at IEMs than almost every other tournament out there? Zenio is playing half as good as he was in Code S (which still wasn't his best), JYP did pretty badly at the Changzhou [sic] tournament etc
Zenio's playing pretty close to how he plays in GSL.

I dunno which LR thread you're reading but i've seen both parties get thrashed pretty badly because of the technical issues.

I agree with this . Looks alot like i was playing on my old machine or the Korean WCG Quali in the first rounds. The game works well untill there's a big battle then it just gets a huge clusterfuck where you can just cross your fingers and hope for the best.
Yes, looks exactly like when I'm playing on my shitty PC.

Yea, it's blizzards fault when the computers lag!!

Yes the lag sucks and he probably would have won that battle with out it.... but that doesn't change the fact that Zenio still had tons of bank could have easily re maxed and held that attack off.
Nightend winning that battle =/= him winning that game he was still loosing and was still outplayed that game
People are way over reacting to the lag in that one battle...

Isn't Intel the main sponsor of IEM? I guess that's a terrible processor..

Honestly, when he decided to go 17 min 3rd expo, I knew he would lose. Even if he won that fight, it would take some miracle to win.

Nightend might have had this game, if he was able to focus fire the broodlords in the deciding engagement from the start. It's really sad and it's hurting esports and especially SC2 very much, to see those things happen. IEM took major damage today. If they are able to get 4-8 "high performance" computers (which seems like a joke, cause we're talking about a 1,5year old game that hasn't the biggest hardware demands) for the upcoming days, they might be able to secure their tournament. Otherwise this will be a huge blow to IEM at all, and players may think twice in the future if it's worth to travel around the world for an IEM.

umm if we wins that fights zenio either dies straight out or loses his fourth, Either way if nightend plays as slow and carefull as he did up to that point no way hes gonna lose

Naniwa was the only one who really got mad, and people got really upset about it and not the tournament. But when we don't see other players reacting so strong, people find the tournament garbage =/
|
I'm not sure about that, we just see the lags on the observer PC. Naniwa had reported 4 second lags, factoring in exaggeration, it's still 3 secs. I am experienced with terrible, terrible PCs, but 3 secs or more is sure as hell not only the PCs fault.

lag with a drop screen = battle.net lag during a big fight and no drop screen = PC

Trust me you get into a drop screen with a bad machine.
