Is it just a Korean cultural thing or something? This isn't true. If you study Puma's gameplay from a year ago compared to now, you can actually see a slight decline in his fundamental mechanical ability, which is awful considering that people have generally improved over the same period of time. Furthermore, he has completely dropped out of GSL. Also, when you consider the fact that he was ranked in the top 50 or so Elo among BW players when he switched, I believe the only one ranked higher than him when they switched was MVP. This means that Puma should about top 5 Terrans in Korea, but the fact is that he is not even close. I can't speak for hero, since I didn't know about him before he switched to TL, but his Korean results are mediocre at best.

Team Liquid/Team EG are one of the 3 exceptions I think this applies to, I was more targetting people like Yong/rain/hwangsin (no offense to them as people intended, but as players... this can't be good for their career) On December 07 2011 05:05 ProxyPL wrote: when 8th vlog will be up? This is pretty personal, but I'll just say it wasn't really a choice, it's kinda neccesary at this point.

Don't take this as a personal attack, but I believe based on reps that you were playing on Yosh's behalf during TSL2 when he got disqualified for some cheating. You probably have other things to thank him and admire him about other than skill. I don't like your attitude towards the foreign scene, even though I agree that foreigners are not that dedicated to getting good at this game. You have a bit too much resentment towards the community, maybe you should try to re-earn the respect of it rather than snub it based on the "foreigners suck" argument. We already have Rekrul saying that shit, but he can post whatever he wants on this site, and he gets his e-penis licked by all of it. You sir, are not going to go very far with that attitude, the internet forums can be very irrational...

About the foreigners comment, we are bad, there is no sugarcoating it, we lack dedication, passion and drive, the majority of foreigners care about glamour, what is there to be hiding from that? It's not the community, nor am I targeting specific people, I'm simply saying Korean's are better and this is why. You're saying you dislike my attitude, because I have the drive of a Korean and look on with negativity when I see foreigners falling further and further behind? I don't understand this.

I didn't play in TSL2 because I wasn't allowed to, the yOsh situation is a whole other story, but it does not take away from the fact that it was/is my belief he was one of the greatest foreign minds in all of SC1 history. I can't help but agree with you. Though of course there are exceptions. I don't really blame the players (most of the time) though. It's just the way this culture is towards sc, compared to korea's culture towards sc. But, as sc2 grows more in the foreigner scene, so will the competition, and with more competition, comes more training and I think then is when we'll see the really serious foreigner training. Love your blogs though. As a zerg player who can't play or understand terrans very well, you're vlogs have been insightful =)
