Fenix is a great player. I was intimidated by him in broodwar, and in SC2 the fear remains.

Good for Fenix he wouldnt go through with mathcfixing because that is just so low. Fenix is a far better player than you and he deserves that money... unlike you What? Grats to him though, IM fostering foreign talent is something to look forward to. I wonder why they are suddenly picking up foreigners... maybe its something recommended/encouraged by GOM/GSL?

He won the WCG Panamericans beating Killer in the finals. He also beat Major in the SC2LA tournament semifinals.. apparently he couldn't play -- or will play later -- the finals against Killer due to illness. I saw some of his play against Major, and I'd say he has improved a lot from last time I saw him. He is still in IM though and will play in the WCG, I think he will win his group along supernova.

He was one of my favourite players, I'm really sad that he just dropped off of the face of the earth Here's an interview with him from December when he played in WCG Grand Finals (at 9:35).
