I've got this friend who I've known since Junior high school, with which I am extremely close;
however, he has been having some health issues lately that have really been putting him in a pinch. There's a long story here where he was getting sick, but I think he'd rather I tell the short version:
He was feeling awful, so he went to see the doctor who thought he just had bad allergies, despite his awful condition, so they sort of blew it off. His condition wasn't improving, which didn't really change things at the doctors office, until he started coughing up blood. They decided to take a closer look, and now he's getting the treatment he needs, and should be fine. He really wanted to come to MLG Providence, but, as you can probably guess from the above, he couldn't make it.
I mentioned this to a few players Sunday after everything, and they were nice enough to give him a call, leaving a message wishing him well and encourage him to show up to the next event. Of course, when he got the messages, he was ecstatic. So, I'd like to give a special thanks out there to a few pro players who really helped uplift one of my closest friends during a shitty time.

I'd almost expect it from Sheth - such a nice guy! But getting all those people sounds pretty amazing.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No matter how big starcraft 2 gets. I'll never forget when the fans and the players and casters and every one were pretty much one.

If I was to find messages for me from MC and HerO, especially if I was bummed about not going, my brain would probably just pop from excitement. Amazing.
