it was the worst episode of the season so far, which isn't saying much though; it still gets a solid 3.5/5 rating from me (lesson zero getting 4/5 and the rest 4.5/5)

I'd say this is the worst episode of season 2...HOWEVER, it's still really, really good. That's just a testiment to how sickly amazing season 2 is. This one certainly wasn't below the standard; it was hilarious and I really enjoyed it, just not as much as Lesson Zero in the "wtf hilarity" department (a good thing, TBH, can't have too many of those) and it didn't almost make me cry (which is fine, heartwarming wasn't the goal).

Also so many awesome little touches, such as French, the clopping noise before the second commercial, some great trolling, etc.
I liked that first hoop scene; Spike made me lose it.
I have more thoughts, most likely, but I'm really tired. Definitely a great episode!
