Ever since I've been growing up. I've always needed a schedule or practice regimen of some sort to follow. Since I've just recently finished a lot of college applications, I'm very serious about improving and taking my game to the next level. For the last couple of months, I've been grinding and grinding away ladder games with a fluctuation. For 2-3 days I'll play like a boss and be owning mid-high masters and the next week I'll be losing to diamond nobodies. Through my replays, I've noticed that one week I'll improve to the point that everything would be pretty good such as my supply depot placement, but the next week it would turn to shit.
My plan was to create a practice schedule for myself that I could follow and maybe I could get your feedback/critique on this kind of thing. I feel as if my mass grinding games is currently not that effective anymore for the level I am at. I wish to include physical exercise as well because that seems to be very important for the mental part so it doesn't slow down my thinking.
Currently My Schedule:
Monday-Friday. School from 8AM-2PM
Thursday- Piano Lesson until 7 PM.
Friday-7:30-9:30PM Party.
Sunday 9AM-12AM Community Service.
Everyday I do around 2 hours of homework and 1 hour of practicing piano. After that I'm pretty much free.
Now I've been thinking of scheduling practice after dinner every day but how can I hold myself accountable? I'm going to need some sort of calender kind of thing to make sure I DO practice so I don't cheat myself out of practice time. How can I make this practice effective? Where will I get the time to watch and analyze replays? Also, where will physical activity come into play with a schedule like this?
I wish to follow this schedule for about 1-2 months to seriously improve my mechanics and game sense. I feel I'm not catching onto the small things which are hurting my game play.
If y'all could give some feedback on things like this I would very much appreciate it.
I'll attach some recent replays just in case some of you would like to judge my currently gameplay and I'll probably upload some new replays every couple of days to see if there REALLY is any improvement.
