So maybe the protoss uprades might not be changed. Maybe it'll just be the shields that end up being changed. Or etc. Hope they fix gfx lag for me | ||

Shield buff is fantastic, at least it gets useful now and may actually involve an interesting decision here and there. It's still an awful upgrade compared to the other two so it will usually still be weapons, armor, shield but shield lvl 1 does get better then armor lvl 2 now for example. (in PvZ at least). The other upgrades being reduced as well is a fine change too. The change will hardly matter much as by the time you get to lvl 3 upgrades 50/50 is quite a insignificant amount but it's still nice. Protoss upgrades were the worst of all 3 races already because most units didn't really benefit well from it given the cost so this evens it out a little bit. These two combined ofcourse make double forge in PvT and fast upgrades in PvZ alot more prevalant, which is only a good thing. The emp nerf I like less though. P is having equal problems with T as with Z at the moment it seems and making such a huge change for PvT and not so much for PvZ is not a good move imo, I actually think it will be quite likely now that P>T and Z>P still. 25% less radius means 43.5% less area which is just alot. It gets much harder to EMP entire armies now and missing some templar here and there will occur quite frequent as well. Perhaps the change is needed but it seems slighly big to me in combination with the upgrade buffs but we will see. Any existing ZvP problems will remain though, armor and shield both still stink in that matchup and the current problem of zerg being able to deny P a 3rd while getting their own 3rd quickly remains. | ||
