EDIT:Not my case though, I find them actually pretty cool and I do not think the design should be changed because of impracticality of catering to even 10%(maybe) minority. The nature of the zerg makes suitable designs for zerg units generate one phobia or another too easily.

Seriously, this is like thinking you have acrophobia because heights make you uncomfortable. Most people are afraid of heights, and for good reason - falls kill you. But this doesn't mean that we're all suffering from an anxiety disorder. Just like being afraid of spiders doesn't make one arachnophobic.

I'm not too fond of the voidray coming out of the stargate, either... makes me a little nauseous... Like I said, these are rational fears so please don't make fun of me.

Thinking you have a "phobia" because you get itchy and disgusted looking at that video is an insult to all the people out there suffering from real anxiety disorders. I agree that mild reactions like itching and such do not constitute phobia in the sense of psychiatric considerations and people are overreacting. On the other hand phobias are on scale and any precise cutoff points are somewhat arbitrary. Also only spread enough phobias are named and recognized because of practical considerations. But they are "recognized" only because they are spread enough not because they are "real" and the others are not. There are probably thousands of things that cause similar responses as full blown arachnophobia, the point is the response not what caused it.

That video is a little biased though, it seemed more about showing gross things in general with holes in them than showing holes as the source of grossing someone out.

I made it to the end of the video fine, but it is a little uncomfortable to watch still. I don't like anything about the swarm host in general though, so maybe I'm just finding reasons to dislike it further.

of course people are going to be uncomfortable watching that video; it's freaking weird and those things are overall disgusting. But very few would attribute it to something like Tryophobia unless prompted.
