The test in itself is just a huge troll, tell anyone to sit perfectly in that position for 2 min 30 sec and see if they don't feel uneasy or itchy, anyone will even looking at a black screen.

I think it's creepy with skin-related stuff and agree that the swarm host animation was pretty nasty.
(But the youtube video was not particularly difficult to watch ...)

You can't say it doesn't exist. If we showed you shocker images of the disgusting holes in flesh for even 15 minutes, you would feel sick for the rest of your life whenever you are reminded of them.
This phobia actually makes evolutionary sense too. Getting a parasite that makes flesh holes is pretty much death in the wild.
I love the model, personally, but I hate getting queasy, so I can sympathize with people who dislike it.

Not everything needs to be classified by the DSM to be real. This is not a troll thread Synk. Googling the phobia brings up tons of discussion threads (and, unfortunately, pictures) so you can see that it does exist.

I don't think it is trolling, I think it is some people - read: not necessarily the OP(!) - pushing their agenda like: I feel uneasy when I see certain things, so I *must* have it accepted as an illness.

Fear of wooden planks also exists, but that doesn't mena we stop making houses made out of them. People that don't like it just steer clear from it. Same goes for this. If swarm host should be changed for people like this, zerg should be removed for people afraid of bugs.

i actually do like the swarm host design, but i do feel a little bit disgusted by it. everytime locusts come out of its back i cant help but wonder what it feels like. on the other hand, that toad is a real animal. its pretty disgusting.

....and yet nobody cares about the infestor in game.
Sorry, but this is completely stupid. There are thousands of random phobias out there. You cannot visually please everyone, especially with an alien race designed to be unappealing to the eye.

It has like 4 holes on the back of it, that's what everyone is afraid of.
I have trypophobia and the Swarm Host is fine for me, as well as creep tumours. It's large clusters of smaller ones I start feeling sick from.

Holes in flesh does freak me out a little, and I am not usually a sqeemish person. I think it started when I watched Army of Darkness as a child :p

There are thousands upon thousands of different phobias, you can't account for every one of them. No reason to single this aspect out among all the others.
Also i like the fact that its a Zerg unit that's disturbing to some people, that kind of the point of Zerg lore wise. They simply aren't meant to be pleasant.
