Bureaucratic model/situational influences on organization design. I'm writing about a theory that basically says the most favorable design for any organization (business) is dependent on certain factors... And how they play a role in determining the optimal design for any circumstance. The basic ones are technology, environment, size, and life cycle.
It's for a business class, and I'm relating this theory to my experience as a manager with the company I work for.
:B I love, love, love business. It's my passion. But I'm swamped with multiple papers due at the same time for several classes. It's so stressful! I wish you could write it for me lol.

What about politics and type of business? Your target consumers and distance of your suppliers? I'm a cynic, so when I think of those factors, I think of the answer to: "which ways can minimize my cost, but maximize delivery of my product or service to my target consumer?"
|
I'm actually writing about operations and supply chain management right now, and how those 4 factors have an impact on purchasing from suppliers. It's very firm specific. Unfortunately, there's no short/general answer for me to write about.
|
Are you allowed to use the comparison of equitable goods and those companies, their differences in costs with those who take advantage of worker labor in impoverished companies (middle-men, etc.)
|
Maybe if this were one of my logistics/international business classes, that would be a bit more relevant. However, managing a company that outsources labor is a great topic to discuss in reference to organizational factors. That's a pretty good idea. Thanks. :D

Globalization also easy to get into.
