I was in a class where my professor went on a tangent about immigrants and foreigners. I instantly thought of non-koreans and got really confused for a few minutes.
I also consider myself a TLer as opposed to a Liquidian.

Sheth has spoken. I no longer need to learn anything about LoL to justify why I don't like it.
'Sorry man but I can't watch LoL, I just think it's pretty bad as a viewable esport, the skill level is too low.'
'Have you even played it?'
'Well no...but Sheth said.'
'Who the fuck is Che-'
'SHETH.'
Seriously though I hear all about the hundreds of thousands of LoL fans and their high stream viewership...where the fuck are all these people? Where are their tournaments? This is a genuine question, not a flame, I just hear all the time about how huge LoL is but never see it.

Oh god yeah I get that foreigner thing hard. And I don't get annoyed exactly when someone says they are a gamer, but I do frown slightly when someone is playing Angry Birds and tells me how much they love gaming.

To be fair, there are a lot of hard-core gamers that don't follow one game, but rather play through a metric FUCKton of different games. We are focused gamers, but there are gamers that go a mile wide and an inch deep.

Once again, real cute. There are big LoL tournaments all the time; they're almost always streamed and thousands of people are always watching them. It's very easy to say you've never seen them or heard of them because you don't care...the same could be said for people who mainly watch football and haven't heard of the thousands of people who watch SC2. If you paid attention to the scene you'd know about the tournaments, just as you always know about the TSL/GSL/OSL/NASL etc.
As far as pro SC skills transferring to LoL, a few of the LoL pros are Master's level SC2, and Tyler plays as well, though he is nowhere near top tier. DotA skills transfer better, but it is still a different game, and the pros at LoL are pros for a reason. People have professed time and time again that pros from other games could pick up LoL and stomp all over everyone in a week, but it hasn't happened yet. Sheth or no Sheth.
At the risk of sounding like a meme-dropper, haters gon' hate.

I edited my post a little....sorry for coming off a little butt-hurt (see what I did there) but call it a general tone that has been oft expressed in many threads lately.
In any case, you enjoy your SC2, I'll enjoy my LoL.

clgaming is a pretty big website for LoL streamers

YES! Finally a to-do list I can follow to fit in :D

CLG is a really good site its what I look to for a good stream list. they have a featured system like TL as well. TSM has a pretty good site and mobafire is the place I get my guides.

- I know almost nothing about korean culture
- I will always refrain from using two words: "faggot" and "butthurt", because (to me) they symbolize the epitome of internet tough-guyishness and ultimately it's just silly. In my opinion, that is ^^
- Absolutely not! Dear lord, I would ruin everything
- Probably the one that's most true about me. I don't think the new units "suck" they're just not as good as the BW ones is all ^^ I probably spend more than 20 hours a week dedicated to SC2/BW
- No. I like to think i'm not that much of a smartass. So far you seem to be describing the average aggressive LR thread spammer.
- Comparatively.
- No, I love abusive strategies, it shows an intent to win. I loved it when Naniwa 4gated HasuObs three times in a row in the TSL3 semi's; because he saw that 4gate was Hasu's weakness and exploited it. I would be silly to complain about NaNiWa's passion to win.
- I don't mind other casters, though Korean ones are my favorite, as well as tastosis.
- I haven't started a single new thread, only blogs, and I (usually ) make sure they're decent enough not to be closed.
- Again, not a smartass.

FTFY lol :D the mechanics are easy for a good starcraft player (map awareness, micro, timing) but it takes a ton of knowledge. a pro LoL player coaching a pro starcraft player for a month --> pro LoL player imoimoimo. and then teamwork (ugh) is another dimension!
