The only foreign tournaments IM players have gone to have been MLG when MLG paid for MVP and Losira. Plus do IM players even get salaries? Thought korean teams don't pay salaries, so not sure how fenix would be making more from IM than fnatic.

They might not get salaries but if I recall correctly, living in a team house means you don't pay room and board. And really, that's what costs the most so it'd be a sustainable living situation to say the least.

As a start, they could try to form a partnership with some foreign teams, and having a foreign player that has good contacts is great way to start. Secondly, having Fenix guarantees foreigner bias/viewership which is something any team wants, especially when they wont have to pay much for it. Congrats to Fenix, he really has a large opportunity to become an even better player.

Nestea has turned down repeated invites. Heck, even MVP has turned down invites (to MLG Raleigh for example). I hope they actually do start going abroad. = ( they turned down invites cuz gsl > everything else and guess what, when they declined they still had a shot in gsl

NesTea doesn't get knocked out early enough to play an MLG. When NesTea have the time to travel outside of Korea and take some easy money, you will see him do it.
