So when you chose to turn back time at the end, won't that just mean that no one remembers what happened and so they will eventually do the same thing again, creating an infinite loop of repetition?

When going through the mines it tells you what the cores and shards are. Essentially they are a backup of anywhere they were placed since they are rocks that remember. But they only had enough cores/shards for Caeldonia itself, not for the land of the Ura. I think (all speculation of course) that by using the bastion it would restore the city and nothing else since they only have the memory of a few areas. Just my theory. Caeldonia would come back, and despite the Ura being extremely pissed, there would be nothing they could do against Caeldonia in its prime. If you have trouble with these, I'd advise going in with Mortar only...very easy really. Seriously. Also, instead of getting the upgrade that allows you to take no damage from it just press your shield button before you launch. Even if it goes off instantaneously your shield will still get up before the blast, shielding you from harm.

SICK game. Best indie game I've ever played... Period. So much fun, beautiful to look at and the sound/music is top notch. 9/10

I think the Singers Dream is going to be really tough, Survivors dream should be doable though.

A few things I'm not sure of though + Show Spoiler + In the plot, from what I understand, there has been war between two factions, and Caelondia decides to bury Ura. But due to sabotage by Zia's father, the weapon backfired and caused the Calamity? Then Zulf wants to use the Bastion to turn back time, so he gets the help of Ura to accomplish this? I don't really see the sense in the final decision(s) then as you can choose to save Zulf but still continue living on the world or you could leave Zulf and still restore the world to before the calamity...

He just wanted to destroy the Bastion out of spite.

For instance, you can turn the machete into either a super fast but low range crit machine, or a powerful thrown weapon with poison tips.. The story is also very very solid. It really picks up about half way through.

( Although weirdly by far the shortest challenge duration wise - because I found it the trickiest - the birds kept killing me a lot ) I hope they add more achievements for beating regular/newgame+ on harder difficulties.
