변명할 가치도 없는 게임이었고 제일 아쉬운것은 재덕이형과의 경기를 놓친것이고 나 자신에게 화가난다 Those games I have no excuses for, and the thing I'm most regretful about is losing a chance to match against NesTea-Hyung (respectful way of address an older person) and I'm angry at myself
Thanks edwahn. I actually missed the matches today from oversleeping and was pretty pissed when I woke up only a little while ago but I think it would have been better for my mood if I didn't watch MC get out-4gated ._.;;
I think MC's got the right idea by committing himself to training in Korea for the next couple months and leaving the foreign scene alone for a while. A little bit of dedicated practice without being disjointed by long periods of travel will do wonders. Don't worry MC, we still love you! MC fighting! <3

Still rooting for you MC!
You win some, you lose a hell of a lot less. That is why you are great. Sometimes you lose at bad times, but you kick ass when you get the chance!

That loss against HongUn was just a bump in the golden road, a mere scratch. MC is still a boss - as a player and as a fan favourite!
|
Mc did not get outmicro or outmacro in those games, the 3 games he lost was mainly due to the build order difference. But I think hongun deserved to win this, even in the game hongun lost, he actually could have won.
Mc is still the better player of the two which i am sure. He just needs a holiday and some practice in Korea to keep himself up to date.
I am pretty sure Mc can recover from this. To compete with zerg and terran, protoss will need Mc. To compete in the GSTL oGsTL will need Mc.
And it is a pity that we are not going to Mc vs Nestea. But never mind, fans love you, Mc !!

he needs to practice hard and no foreigner tournaments in two years so he doesnt make a fool out of himself in the GSL in front of his fans like today, that was just embarassing, he should have let huk play against hongun instead if he's going to play that bad.
|
its unfortunate we didn't get to see neastea vs mc however its awesome to see that mc is going to stay in korea and get his step his practice game up... too much travelling has defs affected his skills. GL in code S next season and own that shit mc!
|
I can't explain how much I wanted to see a MC - NesTea, my 2 favorite players (everybody loves NesTea, and MC is my favorite player). Really sad.... :-( :-( :-(
|
oh man that was rough. Tough mistake to swallow for someone as skilled as MC. GL getting back to form!
|
MC hwaiting!! Don't lose your faith!! You are still the best Protoss in the world!!!
|
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
I think everybody had a moment where he had the feeling that he can't play well right now for gods sake.
Whatever caused the loss is unimportant. He remains in Code S, he remains in Korea, he remains in the hearts of his fans.
Good luck for further victories, Min Chul!

MC, don't worry about it! Just practice hard, and win everything else! I'll ALWAYS support you mr. PRESIDENT! GOGO!

MC just had a bad day, didn't look comfortable at all and made a lot of mistakes, happens to everyone. The silver lining is that this should fuel his practice and hopefully he comes roaring back next season (he will also have the advantage of getting his groups first pick next season).

I remember reading that MC interview last week when he said his mind was "already in the semifinals" before his match against Hongun.
I knew right away that was not a good way to be going into a RO8 PvP.

Not far ahead of hongun it seems, if he cant defend fourgates properly and makes crucial mistakes like those he definitely needs to focus more on his practice in korea.

Hong practiced his 4gates well, don't worry MC. If you read this, know that you're still the best protoss for me; keep practicing and enjoying the game. Your time will come to own it up and win your 3rd GSL title. ^^

I'm a fan of MC but today he left his mind at home. That's the only way he can lose a BO5 like he did. It's not a matter of BO, was his attitude to the whole series that was wrong.
PLS MC, i love you, but never understimate your opponent, he deserve respect. And never be overconfident, that's the only fault in an almost perfect playstyle.
And don't say anymore that you feel already in the semifinals before have won the RO8, because someone could tell to you : "in your dream!"
