Finally watched some of the games (only woke up in time for the end ).
Stats played so good. Perfect play. People were saying in the LR that he messed up by getting the double stargate but it faked out Zero so hard. He wasted so much gas on scourge, and he avoided mutas even though Stats stuck to mostly zealots for a while after the initial zealot rush. Coming into the playoffs, it looked like Stats was in a little slump, but I'm satisfied he's back and CJ is going to see it too.
One question: Why did Really gg so quickly? He was being bested in almost every engagement, but still, when you're on five base with no immediate pressure, nor are you about to run out of minerals any time soon, wtf? If I was his teammate, I would be pissed at him. Even if things aren't looking so hot, you have to at least give it a try before conceding.
And, of course, Hoejja! Well played against cheese.

He lost the game before it even started, he had a look that said "oh well, time to get dominated by Flash again". He just wanted to escape as quickly as possible. Too bad, because he certainly has the talent to beat Flash, just not the mindset.
It's only fitting that the score was 2-4 again, with one of the big 3 falling and no one else picking up the slacks. It's how we lost all three games this post-season, with light, soulkey, and zero taking turns losing.
I really hope that Stars would now start spending time developing rookies in the regular season... or, at least, purchase some more players

flash had both the 12 and 6 secure, had an upgrade advantage and superior army size/composition/positioning, there was no way for really to win (and hadn't been for at least 5-10 minutes before he quit). he could (and probably should given flash's condition) have dragged it out for a bit longer but couldn't come back barring a huge flash blunder
Really gg'd because he saw the inevitability of his situation.
Flash would've continued to amass huge Wraith armies, knowing full well he could lose more than Really because he had secured the gas of 12 and 6. Minerals weren't a problem since he still had the min-onlys.
Stats' build was so sick. Zealot timing into fake double stargate into storm and mass ground army off 3 bases with 1-0-2 upgrades off double forge. Sick timing push. Not even a hanbang like the horang2 style but just as effective.
FUCK YES. KT won. I was certain after seeing the lineups that zero and light had won, and when i saw that soulkey had won, it was almost certain that stars had won. KT wins.
